AUDIO: Kanye West – The Prerequisite (2001 Demo)

demoOver the weekend it looks like Kanye West’s 2001 demo was leaked online and features some tracks you may have previously heard like “Out of Your Mind”, “WOW”, and “Jesus Walks (original)” on previous mixtape series such as Freshman Adjustment.  However, I must admit these are probably in the best quality that I’ve heard or own Kanye’s earlier music in and for that it’s worth a download and there’s a few unheard material.  The project was liberated off KanyeToThe  forum and can be downloaded HERE.  Take a look at the 15 song track list below.  If you like that vintage Kanye/Roc-A-Fella days this is definitely a must have.

AUDIO: Ray J – I Hit It First | Kim Kardashian

ihititfirstAs many of you already know, Ray J recently decided to drop a new single which features Bobby Brackins.  The Nic Nac produced track is obviously a reminder to everybody from Ray that he apparently hit it first when it comes to Kim Kardashian.  In all honesty, the record is very catchy and though it definitely is 100% true it does feel like its in bad taste considering the infamous Ray J and Kim Kardashian sex tape happened somewhere around five years ago.  Either way the former reality TV star has everyone talking about him again and singing along with the chorus.  If you’ve been under a rock check out the song below and take a listen.

NEWS: Kanye West – ‘I Am God’ is Song Title Not Album Name

BBC recently reported that Kanye West’s upcoming new album was going to be titled I Am God.  This caused a lot of controversy online because the foundation for the information used to run with the story was vague and questionable.  As the people became more outspoken and the rumor progressed the Huffington Post decided to reach out to West’s camp to get some clarity about the matter.  Looks like the title is also a reference to Psalm 82.  Click the link to read more in detail.  

A reliable source in West’s camp tells HuffPost Entertainment that the title is actual for an upcoming single, and that the album’s name has yet to be set. The track will be called “I Am A God” (emphasis added).

 

 

VIDEO: KiD CuDi Rocks Secret Myspace Show w/ “Memories” & “Day ‘N’ Nite”

We got a chance to capture his performance of ‘Memories & Day ‘N’ Nite’ to give you a taste of the epic night which ended with a set by Diplo.

Looks like Cudder is out there in Austin as well putting it down and making folks remember that he can still spit when he wants to.  This all took place at MySpace’s secret event from last night at SXSW.  Cudder’s upcoming album Indicud will have 18 tracks and also contain features from the likes of A$AP Rocky, Too Short, Kendrick Lamar and believe it or not Michael Bolton.
