NickiMinaj

TMZ cameras caught up with Nicki Minaj last night and got her all riled up after inquiring on rapper Ransom’s recent line in his song “Man Alone” where he suggests he did some ghost writing work for Minaj in the past.  “Before Nicki was wearing those crazy wigs/I was doing verses for her/just hoping she made it big,” said rapper Ransom.

After being questioned, Nicki proceeded to rant about how she’s never needed or used any ghost writer in her career.  Minaj also goes on to diss Ransom and makes it clear how she feels about him and his career.

AUDIO: Young Jeezy – R.I.P. Remix ft. YG, Kendrick Lamar, & Chris Brown | Drake Diss

Jeezyremix

After just being interview by Power 106’s Big Boy and downplaying his beef with YMCMB rapper Drake, Breezy decides to send shots at the Toronto artist over Young Jeezy’s new “R.I.P” Remix.  The record features verses from other talents like YG, and Kendrick Lamar.

Deciding to spit some bars over the track, Chris makes reference to Drake’s popular “Started From The Bottom” single and raps:

“Now dearly departed, I bought a plane I departed/and if you started from the bottom go ahead and come out the closet…”

Not to be forgotten, Drake’s recent offering with “5 AM In Toronto” off his upcoming project also caused some eyebrows to raise when the former Degrassi actor rapped:

“Bad press during the summer over allegations/ I ain’t lyin’ my nigga my time is money/ that’s why I ain’t got time for a nigga whose time is coming…”

You know what this means right?  Put all the liquor bottles away because shit is about to get serious, tables will be flipped, and all kinds of bottles are about to take flight.

AUDIO: Gunplay speaks out about BET Hip Hop awards fight

Gunplay calls into Power 105’s Breakfast Club to speak on the altercation at the BET hip hop awards. Lets just say his description of the way it played out in comparison to what the visuals show is very different.

CLICK HERE to see video of TMZ catching up with 50 Cent who appeared to be unfazed by the altercation as he landed in New York following the BET Hip Hop Awards Show in Atlanta.

VIDEO: Rick Ross & Gunplay scuffle backstage at BET Hip Hop Awards with Young Jeezy & G-Unit

You can’t really see clearly what exactly is going on here but just at the beginning of the video you can see a visibly upset Rick Ross looking like he’s ready to go.  Ross can be seen just before he goes out of focus taking off his chain like he wants to fight….with numerous police already trying to tone the situation down in the hallway.  If you look close you can see DJ Drama in the back as well with a concerned look on his face.  Once Rick Ross passes him DJ Drama continues down the hall and books it to go do his radio show before being shouted out by the camera guy.

It’s sad that in the aftermath a perfectly good mirror was destroyed for apparently no good reason.  Somebody is looking at some possible bad luck I suppose.  Here is DJ Drama’s most current response on the matter he shared with Hip Hop DX.

Here is the video footage of DJ Drama speaking on the confrontation he witnessed after leaving the venue to go host his radio show.

VIDEO: Gunplay gets jumped at BET Hip-Hop Awards by 50 Cent & G-Unit affiliates

From what the video appears to show is 50 Cent and his camp backstage walking somewhere when all the sudden the fight breaks out.  Tossed like a rag doll is MMG signee Gunplay.  From what the audio at the end of the video states a man can be heard saying that Gunplay was to blame for the attack because of trying to sneak attack 50 Cent and run.

I can’t lie I feel bad for the guy but you have to wonder if this is normal behavior for someone of his background?  At an award show you try and fight 50 Cent when he’s with all this security? It just doesn’t make any sense.  In fact, that has to be common sense.  Then again this is behavior from a guy who openly admitted to having drug problems.  This also raises concerns if the between G-Unit and MMG is once again a priority in 50 and Ross’ agenda.  Check out the clip below.

Almost forgot…what do you think of Tony Yayo possibly being one of the best if not the best hype man of all time?  In concert this man is on point with 50 Cent bar for bar and knows how to play his position.  Top it off, he springs into action and says the same ad-libs (provides authenticity) that he does on the track.  I’ll be honest, it was my favorite part of the video.

VIDEO: HOT 97’s Peter Rosenberg Disses Nicki Minaj At Summer Jam 2012

Radio personality, Hip Hop enthusiast, and DJ Peter Rosenberg recently made some comments about Nicki Minaj’s “starship” music while hyping a crowd up during an intermission.  In the video you’ll see Rosenberg address the crowd and receive a mixed response.  However, it wasn’t long after the comment was made that YMCMB head Lil Wayne caught wind of the diss and decided to pull all his artists from this years Summer Jam. The show went on of course but now with this video it only adds more fuel to the fire.  Let’s see how Hot 97 plays this one out.  Nicki was actually the headliner for the event.
