Taylor Gang artist Juicy J reveals the official tracklist to his forthcoming and highly anticipated Stay Trippy album. Boasting features from the likes of Wiz Khalifa, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, The Weeknd, Big Sean and more — fans can look forward to 16 original tracks and a total of 19 for the deluxe version. Stay Trippy hits stores on August 27.
Directed by Benny Boom, Juicy J links up with Wale and Trey Songz for his new music video “Bounce It” off his forthcoming Stay Trippy album. The former Three 6 Mafia and Taylor Gang artist gives his stripper and club anthem the visual treatment packed with all the familiar trimmings like money, gold, beautiful models and fast cars. Songz takes charge of the catchy hook and encourages the ladies everywhere to “bounce it” with promises of cash showers while the Juice man and Wale drop their respective verses.
While out in London for the Yahoo! Wireless Festival, Big Sean decided to treat the crowd to a special performance and debuted a new track titled “Fire”. Though only giving up the first verse and the song’s hook, Sean delivers an exciting performance over the track’s pounding drums and catchy sample which repeats the phrase “fire”. No word if this will make the final cut onto the G.O.O.D. Music artist’s upcoming, Hall of Fame, album which is set to release on August 27.
Busta Rhymes drops a new Armageddon like commercial to promote the upcoming sequel to his, Extinction Level Event, album released in 1998 by Flipmode and Elektra Records. The Trap Lord A$AP Ferg finally gives his new single “Shabba” featuring A$AP Rocky the visual treatment. The odd video almost resembles something out of an episode of The Addams Family. Showcasing the entire A$AP mob and some pretty young things, Ferg and company party it up in an old looking house and even hit up Snoop from The Wire to come kick it. Trap Lord is set to drop on August 20.
Rapper Crooked I has been busy as of late with touring and recording Slaughterhouse’s follow up album in New York, however, the C.O.B. radio host decided today to release the official tracklist to his upcoming Apex Predator LP. Showcasing but only a few features from the likes of Tech N9ne, K-Young and Tena Jones, the 11 track album is gearing up for a July 30 release. The Long Beach native also enlists production from Denaun Porter, Cardo, Street Runner, and Treacherous’ in-house producers Tabu and Jonathan Elkaer for his solo porject. Tune into C.O.B. The documentary is suppose to coincide with the release of Wale’s latest LP The Gifted which hit stores earlier this week.
