MMG rapper Wale is back with a new visual for “Simple Man” which is featured on his new album entitled The Gifted. Shot on location in Toronto courtesy of Life+Times, the boom-bap track showcases Wale’s lyrical skills as he performs to the camera and takes a ride around the city. The visual also showcases some nice shots of the city’s skyscrapers and concludes with Wale hitting the studio with Drake and J. Cole who also show up to make an appearance.

The duo get their Streets of Rage fighting,racing and more on while two beauties pick up the controllers and put in work on an old video game console. This is a nice throwback concept. MMG artist Wale and Revolt TV link up for a 30 minute documentary chronicling the DC rapper’s rise to fame. Camera’s caught up with Wale and his closest friends/associates to give insight surrounding his humble beginnings, work ethic, popularity in DC and eventual signing with Rick Ross. The documentary is suppose to coincide with the release of Wale’s latest LP The Gifted which hit stores earlier this week.
