West Coast lyricist, Crooked I, is back with a new music video for, “Sumthin From Nothin,” which is featured on the Shady rapper’s recent LP, Apex Predator. The California influenced visual showcases the Long Beach native alongside some classic whips as he performs to the camera with his signature cigar. Backed by his C.O.B. family, Crooked I spits some witty wordplay over a simplistic instrumental composed of only his beatboxing skills.
Crooked I temporarily borrows YG’s infectious and hard-hitting, “My N*gga,” instrumental and serves up his own original freestyle. Switching things up from part one, the new track finds the Slaughterhouse emcee showing off his advanced bars and crafty wordplay over a slowed down version of JAY Z’s “The Dynasty Intro” instrumental. It’s no mercy for the competition as Crooked makes it clear he’s taking no prisoners, has no plans of slowing up and boastfully embraces his dominance in the game.

Horseshoe Gang releases a new music video with “Small-Pacs.” Rapper Crooked I shows up in the beginning to introduce viewers to the group and breaks down the inspiration for the song’s title. Take a look as the Long Beach natives take their act to the streets and perform to the camera while delivering a lyrical tirade over three different instrumentals. “Small-Pacs” is not featured on the group’s recent Top Ramen N!&&@ project and more than likely will land on their upcoming Mixtape Monthly Vol. 1 which is set to release on November 21.
