Funk Volume artist, Hopsin, links up with Hard Knock TV for an intimate interview.  Hopsin addresses his recent “Hop Is Back” song and music video which found the artist venting a lot of steam and explained that he decided to go hard on the track because of the doubt he was getting from fans thinking he went soft.  The rapper also clarifies that he began the track in the early part of 2013 and eventually went back to include his verse that includes his diss towards Kendrick Lamar and Kanye West months later.  As the lengthy conversation continued, Hopsin decided to open up and admitted to viewers that he honestly doesn’t know who he is anymore.  Also, Hopsin touches on struggling with fame, personal issues and the existence of God.

Revolt TV catches up with Drake out in New York and gets him to speak on his new Hit-Boy produced song, “Trophies,” which the YMCMB rapper decided to preview during his live performance.  Drizzy explains the story behind how the track came together and explains to viewers why it didn’t make the final tracklist as the deadline for Nothing Was The Same came and went.  The Toronto native also talks about his frustration with trying to get things just right and sending the song to several artists for a potential hook, however, still finding himself unsatisfied so it remained in his stash of unreleased material.  Drake tells Revolt there’s even a remix for “Wu-Tang Forever” that he’s sitting on along with a few other tracks.

Kanye West caught up with Ryan Seacrest on his radio show and of course the topic of discussion was the details behind his big proposal to reality TV queen Kim Kardashian.  Yeezy touches on the engagement ring he helped design with multiple jewelers and admits that he was very nervous when it was time to propose.  Interestingly enough, West also explained that he always knew he was going to be with Kim from the moment he saw her in a magazine with Paris Hilton and clarifies she will share his last name.  Before heading out, Yeezy shares with Ryan his motivation for doing everything so over the top as of late.

Smith.  Take a look as 2 Chainz at first comes off hesitant to reveal that his favorite NBA team is the Lakers but eventually opens up to explain why he doesn’t think they’ll do much during this upcoming season.  Still, 2 Chainz makes it clear he has a lot of faith in Kobe Bryant and is looking forward to him hitting the court again sometime around Christmas.  The rapper elaborates on his team by explaining he feels the organization is looking to build towards future goals and not necessarily a championship any time soon.  Smith decides to engage 2 Chainz a bit and playfully asks him questions to see what his thoughts are on the Clippers.  Before calling it a wrap, 2 Chainz explains that he’s not worried about the Clippers winning rings anytime soon because he believes they still have tough opponents to get through like OKC, Golden State and the Spurs.

HipHopSince1987 catches up with Los Angeles’ Nipsey Hussle for an exclusive interview.  Check out Neighborhood Nip give details on his new Crenshaw mixtape organically came about after recording for his upcoming debut album Victory Lap.  Nipsey opens up about his fallout and eventual reconciliation with long-time friend and producer Ralo and the impact it’s had on his music since.  Hussle also reveals that he doesn’t have a favorite track off Crenshaw but explains that “Crenshaw and Slauson (True Story)” is probably his most honest song as it contains most of his story.

As the discussion continued, the rapper looks back on some of his setbacks he had to endure such as having the police raid his studio, dealing with his brother Blacc Sam going to Prison, dealing with issues in the streets and even admits he use to transport pounds of drugs to Las Vegas.  Before calling it a wrap, Nipsey Hussle addresses the project’s single “Checc Me Out” with Dom Kennedy and reassures viewers that they will see a music video for soon soon.
