Dam-Funk and Snoopzilla are back with a new funky party visual for their latest single, “I’ll Be There 4U,” which is featured on the group’s new LP, 7 Days of Funk. The visual finds the duo having some fun with a few half-naked models and partying the night away with a few blunts and drinks. At times the music video also looks like what I would expect a commercial to look like for Snoop Dogg’s new Long Beach inspired G Pen.
Drake’s “Would You Like A Tour?” recently stopped in Los Angeles and the YMCMB rapper decided to treat the Staples Center crowd to a special performance from Snoop Dogg. The Long Beach native and hometown hero hit the stage in the middle of Drizzy’s set and performed a couple of his classics like “The Next Episode,” “Gin & Juice” and “Drop It Like It’s Hot.” Take a look as the Doggfather almost takes a bad spill right in the beginning as he makes his way down the stairs.
Snoop Dogg recently made a visit to Bishop Don “Magic” Juan’s radio show, The Don Juan Show, for an exclusive interview. Marijuana and pimping were appropriately the topics of discussion as the Doggfather opened things up with dropping his philosophy on what he feels is the best method in keeping children informed about the greenery. Take a look as Snoop explains the importance of timing, leading by example and educating children in the home before the world can have the chance to corrupt them. The conversation eventually took a turn when Bishop Don Juan decided to bring up his favorite topic, pimping. The Doggfather took the opportunity to speak on his film Bossin’ Up, the rule of pimping and admits that he fell in love with a few of his hoes in the past.
Fans were recently treated to the groups new single and music video for “Faden Away” and now we get a look at the official artwork and tracklist for the upcoming 7 Days Of Funk LP. Looking like a scene from Beavis & Butt-Head, the cover for Snoopzilla and Dam-Funk’s new project features some throwback looking cartoon work. Posted outside of what appears to be a music venue, the artwork showcases the Doggfather in front of a old school ride while a street brawl ensues in the background. The groups self-titled debut album will contain a total of nine original songs and be available on December 10. Check out the tracklist provided for more details.

West Fest TV is back with a new “Doggisodes” and episode number 29 is boasting a hilarious interview from Snoop Dogg while recently out in Switzerland. Somewhat cramped in the back of a van, the Doggfather sparks up a blunt and has some fun throwing zingers back and forth with his interviewer who he eventually gets high after claiming he doesn’t even smoke in the first place. There’s some pretty hilarious moments during their conversation which tackles topics like Snoop’s skateboard company, his work as a football coach and so much more. Daz Dillinger also makes a brief appearance in the beginning.
Jen Deleon of HotNewHipHop links up with the Doggfather for a candid one-on-one interview. Snoop Dogg kicks things off with sharing his thoughts on this year’s BET Hip Hop Awards cyphers and reveals that Kendrick Lamar, Crooked I and Kevin Hart’s were actually his favorites. The Long Beach native reassured viewers that he hopes to show off his skills in a future cypher. Snoop’s recently passed birthday celebration was also the topic of discussion as the West Coast legend addressed his Colt 45 and G Pen sponsored event and breaks down the inspiration behind his new Snoopzilla alias. Before callin it a wrap, Snoop also shared his enthusiasm for his upcoming 7 Days Of Funk album and touched on what it means for him to be a coach and the lesson of teamwork he promotes to his players.
Snoop Dogg recently made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live and was able to perform some of his new music off his upcoming collaborative album entitled 7 Days Of Funk. However, the Long Beach native also took the opportunity to partake in a short segment dedicated to the following night’s special guest which turned out to be Al Gore. Here’s the clip that was aired on television from Kimmel’s latest episode which showcases Snoop’ asking a marijuana and science inspired question for the politician.
