The rapper spoke modestly on his career and humbled himself to the likes of Dr. Dre, Battlecat and DJ Muggs when asked if he agreed he was the best producer in Los Angeles. Quik also touched on the new era of West Coast Hip Hop and pointed out that he’s a major supporter of TDE. Before calling it a wrap, the gangsta rapper revealed to viewers that he recently acquired the appropriate budget to be able to start recording for his new LP and that fans can expect him to take things back to his roots. The project will serve as Quik’s 9th studio album.
French director, Mikael Colombu, delivers a new trippy music video for Drake’s “We’ll be Fine.” Back in January, Colombu teased viewers with a preview and now the finalized version has surfaced for our viewing pleasure. The visual appears to be inspired by sci-fi and sports plenty of crazy effects that is sure to have fans wanting more. A classical grand opera by Verdi titled, “Don Carlo,” serves as the soundtrack and really compliments everything that is going on aesthetically.
Terry Kennedy celebrated with family and friends at an exclusive gathering at Tony Hawk’s home in Carlsbad, Calif. for son, Riley Hawk’s, 21st birthday. The young Hawk was also surprised when the rest of the Baker crew showed up to give him the good news that he’d officially gone pro.
