The annual Sunset Strip Music Festival went down yesterday as plenty of bands and artists took the stage to entertain fans throughout the day. Closing out the event was MMG rapper Wale who decided to treat the crowd to some surprise guests with Chris Brown and YG. Skee.TV cameras were there to capture the moment as Wale took the SKEE Live stage and performed fan favorites as well as new material off his recently released The Gifted LP.
It’s was recently that time again in Houston, Texas for Trae The Truth’s annual Trae Day event. Never one to forget where he came from, Trae The Truth gives back to the community with a series of live performances, games and school supplies for the kids, and free vaccinations. However, fellow group members CJ Fly and Kirk Knight help Joey pick the mood right back up as they kick into “Survival Tactics” off Joey’s 1999 mixtape.
Irvine, Calif. was the location for the latest stop on the 2013 Under The Influence of Music Tour which showcased solid acts such as Harlem native A$AP Rocky. As Rocky finished up his set, he decided to close things out by showing support to fellow A$AP Mob member, A$AP Ferg, by rocking out with the crowd to his new single “Shabba” off his upcoming Trap Lord LP.
Recently performing in New York, Kanye West took the stage at the Adult Swim Upfront event and showcased two new tracks which are presumably going to be featured on his upcoming album.
