New Orleans’ own, Curren$y, recently stopped by Santa Ana’s The Observatory for the latest stop on his Canal St. Confidential Tour. With the album quickly approaching its December release date, Spitta took the opportunity to perform new material off the project like “Drive By” and “Boulders” along with plenty of other older fan favorites. Check out the Jet Life front man as he also gets into “Cargo Planes” off Pilot Talk III. Canal Street Confidential will be available on December 4.

Curren$y releases his latest single titled “442” featuring his former Cash Money bosses Lil Wayne and Birdman. The New Orleans rapper effortlessly laces the song’s infectious and soulful instrumental which is provided courtesy of Jet Life affiliates Monsta Beatz. Listen as Spitta gives the track a muscle car theme by dropping rhymes about Oldsmobile’s classic 442 model. Weezy and Birdman also deliver their respective verses but do little to outshine Curren$y on his turf.
