Ransom delivers a new bonus track called “Dollars & Sense” that fans can expect to pick up on the physical copy of the rappers new collaborative album with producer Statik Selektah. The Proposal is due to finally officially hit shelves on November 5 after already being released on iTunes and other digital outlets about a month ago. Take a listen as Selektah keeps it straight raw Hip Hop with a classic boom bap instrumental which is driven by a mellow piano loop that provides the perfect platform for Ransom to spit some deep and introspective rhymes over. The DJ-producer also shines on the chorus with his signature sample scratching.
Joey Bada$$ and Pro Era link up with Statik Selektah for a special basement cypher. New York’s Ransom releases a new promotional trailer for his new album titled, The Proposal . The black and white visual showcases Ransom and his trusty goons snatching up an unsuspecting victim and dragging him over to an undisclosed location for an interrogation. Statik Selektah drops off a new video for “21 & Over” off his upcoming album Extended Play dropping June 18. The track features solid verses from Sean Price and Mac Miller. The impromptu style of the video finds everyone in attendance at a recent show as Statik, Sean, and Mac lay down their respective parts. Also, look out for cameos from the likes of Joey Bada$$, Schoolboy Q, Evidence, and The Alchemist.
