R&B singer and Taylor Gang signee, Courtney Noelle, announces her upcoming Love On The Run mixtape and unveils the accompanying artwork. After working alongside Wiz Khalifa and contributing to several past releases such as his recent O.N.I.F.C. LP, the singer finally inked a deal last year with his rising Taylor Gang imprint. Love On The Run is set to drop soon and will serve as Noelle’s debut solo project on the label and most likely will boast features from other in-house talent. Fans can catch the rising singer currently on the road for Wiz’s Under The Influence of Music Tour touring with heavy hitters A$AP Rocky, Trinidad James, B.O.B. and Joey Bada$$ and Pro Era.
A$AP Rocky takes a small break in the middle of his performance in Irvine, Calif. and asks the crowd to toss joints and blunts to the stage so he can smoke with them. Watch as the crowd eagerly obliges the request and begins to shower Rocky with California’s finest greenery. After a few words and a few tokes, Rocky picks up where he left off and gets into “Purple Swag: Chapter 2” off his Live.Love.A$AP mixtape.
Wiz Khalifa invites fellow Taylor Gang artist, Tuki Carter, to hit the stage and join him for a performance of their collaborative track “Rise Above” off Wiz’s O.N.I.F.C. album. Watch as Khalifa and Carter impressively kick their respective lyrics back and forth, put on a solid performance and remind the crowd that they stay rising above the haters to get the cash.
Trinidad James hits the stage in Irvine, Calif. and gets the crowed turnt up with his smash song “Female$ Welcomed” off his Don’t Be S.A.F.E. mixtape. Though his main hoe may have no been feelin’ him no mo the fans on the Under The Influence of Music Tour certainly embraced the “All Gold Everything” rapper and his unique style.
Wiz Khalifa took the original Taylors back down memory lane with a performance of his earlier hits like “The Kid Frankie” and “Up” off his now classic Kush and Orange Juice mixtape. Though Khalifa performed a number of past and present hits, the Kush and Orange Juice portion of the show is always a standout and reminds fans just how far the Taylor Gang head honcho has come.
Pro Era and DJ Statik Selektah pay homage to deceased member Captial STEEZ by honoring his memory with “Like Water” live in Irvine, Caif. for the Under The Influence of Music Tour. However, fellow group members CJ Fly and Kirk Knight help Joey pick the mood right back up as they kick into “Survival Tactics” off Joey’s 1999 mixtape.
Joey takes it back to the beginning with one of his earlier hits that shined the spotlight on his talent as a lyrical MC with “Waves” off his 1999 mixtape. Performing live for the crowd in Irvine, Calif. on the Under The Influence of Music Tour with Pro Era member Kirk Knight by his side, Joey kicks his raps over the tracks smooth production provided by Freddie Joachim.
