Black Hippy member ScHoolboy Q links up with the lovely Karen Civil for a one-on-one interview where the two discuss a number of current topics.  Q confirms that his forthcoming album, Oxymoron, is completed and details how the project went through three different versions before finally getting the green light to drop later this year in the 4th quarter.  ScHoolboy clarifies that Oxymoron will focus on his past and present and cover topics like his love for his daughter and his struggle to make it in music.  The TDE rapper also goes on to share that he would love to hit the road with Action Bronson and sends a request to Jill Scott for a future collaboration.  Before calling it a wrap, Q also talks with Karen about cutting his past drug habits, old tweets aimed at Wale that recently surfaced, appearing in Myspace’s new commercial and reveals his next move is to get into acting.

Equipped with socially conscious lyrics, the South Central native drops bars for the camera packed with substance and gives insight behind recording his own original music. S-Mak stresses the importance of finding a niche, networking with various artists and producers and taking advantage of technology which has allowed his voice to be heard through various social media platforms.

The Trap Lord A$AP Ferg finally gives his new single “Shabba” featuring A$AP Rocky the visual treatment.  The odd video almost resembles something out of an episode of The Addams Family.  Showcasing the entire A$AP mob and some pretty young things, Ferg and company party it up in an old looking house and even hit up Snoop from The Wire to come kick it.  Trap Lord is set to drop on August 20.

Chicago native Chief Keef drops a new music video for “April Fools” off his upcoming Almighty Sosa project.   Directed by Brandon Zeher, the visual finds Keef in familiar surroundings with plenty of smoke, cash and jewelry as he performs for the camera in a big house.  Never one to step outside of his familiar wordplay, Keef sticks to what he knows best and spits about his expensive habits and being richer than everybody else.  However, what else would you expect from Sosa?  

VIDEO: Kanye West Clashes w/ TMZ Paparazzi at LAX

TMZ recently released footage of Kanye West running into paparazzi outside of LAX and becoming instantly upset after one tries to spark up a conversation.  Yeezy can be seen in the clip exiting his vehicle and immediately is approached by the paparazzo who begins asking him questions and informs Ye that he’s a big fan.  West doesn’t even entertain his comments and proceeds to instruct the cameraman to never talk or ask him questions again but also tells him to send the word out.  Within his hand blocking the camera lens, Yeezy walks away but not before being pursued once again by the TMZ paparazzo. Wayne and company deliver a short visual teaser for “God Bless Amerika” off Weezy’s upcoming I Am Not A Human Being II.  Shot in New Orleans, Wayne recently found himself on the receiving end of some public outrage when behind-the-scenes footage surfaced a few weeks back and showed the YMCMB rapper accidentally stepping on the American flag during taping.  Directed by Elf Rivera, the clip finds Weezy in his hometown of Hollygrove standing in front of the American flag rapping a few bars before the clip is abruptly stopped.

Equipped with 40-ounces, weed, jewelry and cheap sparkling wine Pooh kicks his raps over a smooth sample based instrumental and delivers a comical ending to pull the video’s message all together.
