Chief Keef drops off a short preview to his upcoming music video for “Love No Thotties.” The visual finds the young Chicago rapper driving while arguing and laying the law down with a female friend during a phone conversation. Be on the look out for the video to release in its entirety soon.
RadioShack and Beats By Dre put together a new short commercial to showcase their current in-store headphones promotion with the help of 2 Chainz. The G.O.O.D. Music artist also capitalized on the opportunity and used an unreleased song titled “I Do It” featuring Lil Wayne and Drake as the soundtrack. Though only highlighting a few bars from 2 Chainz, fans get the chance to hear the rapper’s potential new single for his upcoming B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time LP.
Wayne and company deliver a short visual teaser for “God Bless Amerika” off Weezy’s upcoming I Am Not A Human Being II. Shot in New Orleans, Wayne recently found himself on the receiving end of some public outrage when behind-the-scenes footage surfaced a few weeks back and showed the YMCMB rapper accidentally stepping on the American flag during taping. Directed by Elf Rivera, the clip finds Weezy in his hometown of Hollygrove standing in front of the American flag rapping a few bars before the clip is abruptly stopped.
DJ and Shade 45 radio host Tony Touch finally dropped a quick snippet of the anticipated new Eminem song “Symphony In H” which is set to be featured on his upcoming Piece Maker 3: Return Of The 50 MC’s project dropping July 9. It’s refreshing to hear Eminem back at it and with a vintage slim Shady vibe. Em kicks it the only way he knows how with sinister rhymes and sick lyrical wordplay which puts all the hype in perspective of just why the song has caught so much attention when the track list for the project first surfaced.
UPDATE: The CDQ version of the track drops via Shady Records official sound cloud page.
Looks like Def Jam has finally released and confirmed the official artwork for Kanye West’s upcoming Yeezus album. The artwork is similar to the decoys that were circulated throughout the internet a few weeks ago. Here we have a simple blank CD with the album’s track list around the edges placed in a clear jewel case. The only thing that really stands out is what appears to be a piece of red tape with the album title written across it very sloppy in black sharpy.
Below is also a recent snippet that was released for a track titled “Bound” which will be featured on Yeezus. I can’t lie, I’m very excited to see what Kanye has in store for hip hop fans with this album. Yeezus will be in stores and digitally available on June 18.
