Lil Wayne has been suffering seizures over the last few days and according to TMZ Weezy has suffered yet again additional seizures that have now landed the YMCMB rapper in critical condition at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.  They are also reporting that his mother is currently on a plane to the hospital should things turn for the worse and decisions need to be made.

TMZ reports, “He was taken to ICU, where he was placed in restraints because he was shaking uncontrollably.  We’re told Wayne is currently “unstable,” and has been placed in an induced coma.  He is breathing through tubes…sources say there’s evidence Wayne went on a Sizzurp binge after being released Wednesday, because doctors found high amounts of codeine in his system.  We’re told Wayne’s stomach was pumped 3 times to flush the drugs from his sytem.”

However, several YMCMB affiliates and artists have hit up twitter to clarify that different media sites reporting the matter are blowing it out of proportion and that Wayne is actually in good spirits and recovering.  I guess we’ll have to wait and see how things turn out as the story continues to develop.  Let’s hope everything turns out the best for Wayne as he apparently makes his recovery.
