Go on the road with Kendrick Lamar as he takes you with him on the Verge Campus Tour alongside co-headliner Steve Aoki.
This was a pretty dope idea to capture his initial reaction. Kendrick visits ScHoolboy Q during a recent studio session for his upcoming project Oxymoron and gets surprised as Top Dawg and company play the official remix version of “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe” which features Jay-Z. Watch as K. Dot takes the moment in surrounded by family and friends.
Here’s some additional footage that was released from Kendrick’s performance earlier in the week alongside ScHoolboy Q and Action Bronson. Check out this dope footage of Kendrick giving the crowd a dose of “Backseat Freestyle” off Good Kid M.A.A.D. City.

Considered by many as a modern day classic rap album, Good Kid M.a.a.d. City opens up with the intro track entitled “Sherane”. This particular track is a favorite of mine off the album and being the first record it pulls you in and sets up Kendrick’s story appropriately. Take a look at the video below to see an in depth look by producers Tha Bizness on how the beat was actually constructed. All we need now is an official instrumental to be released to vibe out to.
