VIDEO: A Tribe Called Quest Reunites & Prince Shuts Down SXSW

ATCQ and Prince recently hit the stage at SXSW and gave fans a night to remember at Samsung’s #TheNextBigThing concert.  Check out the clips below provided by MissInfo.TV and read how she describes her experience for that special evening.

I’ve been attending shows since Tuesday, and this was hands down the best show of SXSW (in my opinion). Tribe started it off with all the classics, and the fellas genuinely looked like they were enjoying every minute of their set, which says a lot. Then, there was Prince. Backed by a 22-piece band, the legend was electrifying to say the least, the very least. I’ve never witnessed a show like that before.

He owned every band member, and could read and command each one with a simple look. The man did 6 encores. For anybody who attends rap shows regularly—-a Prince show will change your perspective on concerts.

The wizard knows how to get the crowd hype! Last night Kid Cudi performed at the Myspace Chevrolet SECRET SHOW at SXSW 2013 and delivered an absolutely spectacular show. We got a chance to capture his performance of ‘Memories & Day ‘N’ Nite’ to give you a taste of the epic night which ended with a set by Diplo.

VIDEO: Usher Surprises Fans & Plays First Ever SXSW Show

Usher had his first ever SXSW performance go down last night at the FADER Fort stage while The Afghan Whigs hit the stage. Surprising fans, Usher made an unannounced entrance when he decided to take the stage and perform his hit single “Climax”.  Skee TV keeps it live in the mix as they deliver footage of what went down as Usher did his thing to a very hyped crowd.

In the last clip, Usher asks the crowd at SXSW to pray for Lil Wayne.

Last night as Snoop Dogg was putting it down in Austin for SXSW, Skee TV was there to capture this special moment where Mr. Lion got a little emotional as he shared his thoughts about gun violence with a packed venue.  This all went down as Snoop was headlining his LionFest show.

Well, if you’re like me you were watching all of this as it went down yesterday during the free live stream.  However, just before Schoolboy & Action were about to do their thing a mysterious black out occurred and during that time I missed Bronson and also a short performance by TDE’s Kendrick Lamar.  No worries though, I’m sure plenty of coverage is in the works and will be hitting the net soon just like the clip below.  Take a look at the video below if you missed it live yesterday.
