Out on the streets of the Bronx, the super producer checks out some street work from Banksy and breaks down what it means to have creative freedom and art’s ability to stand the test of time. Swizzy speaks on the way society has always been able to use different art methods in order to communicate and code messages. The special preview of Revolt TV’s exclusive interview with Swizz Beatz for the network’s show, The Gate, ends with the producer telling viewers that art will always remain and it’s people that change.

Rapper A$AP Rocky and super producer Swizz Beats team up with Monster to showcase their DNA headphone line in a new commercial also featuring Best Buy. While out on the road and attempting to collaborate on Swizzy’s tour bus studio, the two realize there’s no headphones in the booth and so begins the journey to struggling electronic retailer Best Buy. The short promotional video keeps things simple and is straight to the point as it concludes with Swizz picking up a pair of DNA’s for A$AP Rocky to use.
Rick Ross takes in the stage in Las Vegas at Reebok’s Classic Event. As host for the party, Ricky kept the crowd live with the help of Swizz Beatz and French Montana. MMG’s Stalley was also in the building as Rozay decided to turn the club up with his hit collaboration “FuckWitMeYouKnowIGotIt” off JAY Z’s Magna Carta…Holy Grail LP. Afterwards, Ross and company made their way to Rain for the official MMG and Reebok suite after party where the real fun shit goes down.
During Sunday’s NBA Playoff game between the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs, Jay-Z decided to take over halftime with his Magna Carta Holy Grail album announcement. Surrounded in the studio with the likes of Rick Rubin, Timbaland, Pharrell, and Swizz Beatz Hov and company played production snippets that more than likely will be featured on the highly anticipated upcoming album. With a fun and joking demeanor, Jay-Z laid “the blueprint” out for what was to come and shared his creative thoughts on the direction for the project.
The more shocking part of the commercial announcement is Jigga Man’s exclusive deal with Samsung to have a priority release of the album three days in advance for the first million Samsung Galaxy mobile users. Owners of the phone will have the opportunity to download a Google Play application which will give them exclusive access to Jay-Z’s 12th album for completely free at 12:01 a.m. on July 4.
Jay-Z finally uses his lyrical skills to address his recent critics stemming from his trip to Cuba with Beyonce. “Open Letter” also gives HOV’s take on his recent situation concerning his stake with the Brooklyn Nets and his newly finalized deal with Universal.
