Atlanta’s Young Scooter who was recently released from prison last week, kind of makes his return back to world of Hip Hop with a new loosie track titled “Fresh Outta Jail.” The appropriately titled song finds the D-Boy lacing the piano driven and mellow instrumental with tales from behind bars and movin’ major weight. Scooter doesn’t bite his tongue and addresses things like his frustration with the district attorney, losing out on show money and returning right back to the street lifestyle.

Chicago native Lil’ Durk delivers his new music video for “Traumatized” which is featured on the young rapper’s Signed To The Streets mixtape. Durk appropriately takes to the block with his boys to shoot the visual for the street inspired song which showcases the rapper lacing the track with rhymes about the harsh realities he’s surrounded by.

Soon after, G.O.O.D. Music’s Big Sean made his way into the AXS TV studio to grab a seat on DJ Skee’s couch and discuss what he’s been up to, his thoughts on life, the city of Detroit and so much more. Sean opened up about his early days in music with artist Mike Posner and addressed how difficult it is for an artist to make it out of the D. Speaking candidly, Big Sean also shared his personal philosophy on remaining positive in order to manifest your dreams into reality.
As the conversation continued between the long-time friends, Sean made it clear that he was open to collaborate with artists from all genres and gave viewers insight into his hometown’s downward spiral. Still, Big Sean shared that he is currently giving back to the city in its time of need wherever he can. The rapper also spoke on his partnership with shoe brand Adidas and revealed he has an all new design coming soon which will serve as his third model. Before saying his goodbyes, Big Sean weighed in on Nipsey Hussle’s groundbreaking $100 price tag for his recent Crenshaw mixtape and participated in a round of on-the-spot Twitter questions from fans.

Check out Neighborhood Nip give details on his new Crenshaw mixtape organically came about after recording for his upcoming debut album Victory Lap. Nipsey opens up about his fallout and eventual reconciliation with long-time friend and producer Ralo and the impact it’s had on his music since. Hussle also reveals that he doesn’t have a favorite track off Crenshaw but explains that “Crenshaw and Slauson (True Story)” is probably his most honest song as it contains most of his story.
As the discussion continued, the rapper looks back on some of his setbacks he had to endure such as having the police raid his studio, dealing with his brother Blacc Sam going to Prison, dealing with issues in the streets and even admits he use to transport pounds of drugs to Las Vegas. Before calling it a wrap, Nipsey Hussle addresses the project’s single “Checc Me Out” with Dom Kennedy and reassures viewers that they will see a music video for soon soon.

Action Bronson is gearing up to release his anticipated Blue Chips 2 mixtape in only a few days and last night Peter Rosenberg did the honors of premiering the project’s first single titled “Practice.” Producer Party Supplies decides to find some inspiration from former NBA star Allen Iverson’s infamous press conference as he uses an audio snippet to kick things off with in the song’s intro. Bronson does what he does best and shows off his savvy wordplay infused with rhymes about fine cuisine, his love for his G Pen, women and much more. Blue Chips 2 is due to drop on November 1.
