In fact, fans on site were treated to a rare occasion as Mannie Fresh, Lil Wayne, Turk and Juvenile all showed up to represent for their city and support the G.O.O.D. Music rapper.
Rap-Up TV catches up with 2 Chainz to discuss the inspiration behind his upcoming music video for the Mannie Fresh produced single “Used 2.” Speaking candidly with the camera, Chainz opens up about his plans to shoot the visuals on location in New Orleans and shares his desire to recruit members from the group Hot Boys for cameos. 2 Chainz also adds that showcasing them would bring a certain authenticity to the music video and explains how Mannie Fresh was able to produce the song entirely on his iPad.

Yassin Bey (Mos Def) recently performed a new song called “Black Jesus” live at the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix and now delivers the CDQ version via the soundcloud stream below. I can’t tell you how excited I am to hear what Mannie and Yassin have been working on for their upcoming 10-song collaborative album OMFGOD.
This recording session spontaneously came about after a Big K.R.I.T. show where both rappers attended. In the clip you can see the moment where Mannie & Mos linked up and took it to the studio that very night. The track they are working on together in the clip is “OMFGOD”. I’m already excited to see what comes about from this.
