It’s a full-on industry takeover as Maino hits the streets of New York and takes over a major record label with The Mafia.  Take a look as Maino’s latest visual for “Fuck These Industry Niggas” finds the rapper and his crew decked out in black and plotting on the music industry.  The rapper makes his feelings very clear as he shares his disgust for the current state of hip hop and his disapproval of the artists at the forefront.  It’s no mercy as Maino takes hostages and performs to the camera inside while Police surround the building and attempt to negotiate from outside.

Civil TV did the honors just a few days ago of taking viewers behind the scenes of Casey Veggies’ new music video for “She In My Car” featuring Dom Kennedy.  Today, the finalized version drops and features some dope footage of the rappers performing the camera as they live it up in luxury and celebrate their success at a fancy house on the hills.  ”She In My Car” is featured on Veggies’ Life Changes mixtape.  Keep an eye out for a cameo from MMG’s Rockie Fresh who also showed up on set to support and get a game of pool in.

Wu-Tangs RZA paid Arsenio Hall a visit on his show and celebrated the legendary hip hop group’s 20 years in the game.  The rapper-actor opened up about the Clain’s forthcoming album and addressed the difficulty of getting Raekwon in the studio to complete the project.  RZA also looked back at what it was like to lose ODB back in 2004 and reveals he’s going to be a part of a new show on Fox coming soon called Gang Related.

Maino gets in contact with the HOT 97 Morning Show to weigh in on his recent comments in response to Trinidad James’ New York rant.  After the “All Gold Everything” rapper decided to spazz out a recent performance and claim that the South runs New York hip hop, Maino made it a point to call in and clarify that what really got under his skin was when the rapper indirectly challenged anyone who disagreed with him to a fight.  Take a listen as Maino downplays Trinidad’s comments and explains to Rosenberg and Ebro why the young rapper crossed the line.

Down South rapper Waka Flocka releases a new visual for the energetic street banger “Color Blind.”  Released earlier this year, the music video for the song finds the eccentric character living it up and partying the night away with his crew and some ladies.  With plenty of drink and weed smoke going around, Waka laces the hard-hitting track with plenty of braggadocios rhymes which include bars focused on his love for chasing money and keepin’ gold diggers at distance from it.

Plenty of eyebrows were raised recently at Trinidad James’ live show in New York.  The Atlanta native decided to stop midway through his set to go on rant about the decline of New York hip hop and spoke highly of his forthcoming album which is currently in the works for 2014.  James reflected on the city’s former dominance of the music industry with hometown acts like Dipset and didn’t bite his tongue when he blurted that the South runs New York hip hop.  In fact, James came off very disrespectful as he explained to the audience that East Coast rappers might as well claim to be from Atlanta.  In-between Trinidad’s offensive comments, the rapper also decided to briefly weigh in on Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” line about being “King of New York.”

Apparently even GQ is capitalizing on exclusive content and visuals these days as they release a new “GQ Freestyle” with Kendrick Lamar.  The video showcases the young Compton native as he gets spruced by for his GQ Men of the Year photo shoot with the magazine.  In between all the flashing lights, Lamar stops to drop a couple of bars in front of a white backdrop as a few extras on set make sure he looks real dapper for the camera.  Kendrick Lamar is set to be featured in the December 2013 issue of GQ.

DJ Vlad talks sneakers and fashion with G.O.O.D. Music’s Pusha T.  The Virginia Beach native admits he doesn’t own a pair of the “Red October” Nike Air Yeezy 2 model and has had to buy every Kanye West designed sneaker in order to get his hands on them like everyone else.  King Push reveals the Chicago rap legend has never hooked him up with a free pair of any colorway or model and promises viewers he has an extensive shoe collection.  Interestingly enough, Pusha T also admitted that he feels Kanye West’s elusive Nike sneakers have surpassed Jordan’s in popularity because of West’s status as a fashion icon.  The My Name Is My Name rapper followed up his comment by clarifying that he believes Yeezy is far more respected in the world of fashion than compared to JAY Z.

Here’s a dope new clip of Swizz Beatz giving some commentary on what he thinks about art and its importance to Revolt TV.  Out on the streets of the Bronx, the super producer checks out some street work from Banksy and breaks down what it means to have creative freedom and art’s ability to stand the test of time.  Swizzy speaks on the way society has always been able to use different art methods in order to communicate and code messages.  The special preview of Revolt TV’s exclusive interview with Swizz Beatz for the network’s show, The Gate, ends with the producer telling viewers that art will always remain and it’s people that change.
