Ebro also took the opportunity to admit that he has no shame and has tried to hit on Tahiry before in the past via text message. Joe and Tahiry play things off real smooth as the couple refused to confirm or deny if they were together and simply refereed to themselves as homies. Budden reassures viewers that the new Slaughterhouse album is on the way and will follow Eminem’s promotional run for his new Marshall Mathers LP 2. Joe also revealed that the project is the group’s best work to date and they are choosing between 40 different songs to determine what will make the final tracklist.
Peter Rosenberg and Ebro catch up with Nick Cannon for an exclusive and lengthy new interview off the air. The Wild ‘N Out host opens things up by playfully joking around with Rosenberg and Ebro about his love for fashion and his flashy colorways. In fact, Cannon reveals that he plans out his clothes for each day a week in advance with clothes he receives from manufactures, Macy’s and designers. The lighthearted conversation continued with Nick sharing a few laughs with the guys about his sons unusually large head and his theory on very successful people sharing the same feature. Nick Cannon also opened up about his penis size after getting into details about his visit to the Howard Stern show and porn somehow followed as the topic of discussion. DJ Khaled and Rick Ross recently made their way over to HOT 97 to have a sit down with Ebro, Peter Rosenberg and Cipha Sounds. Watch as Ciph takes the opportunity to confront DJ Khaled about not showing the same love and support back that he initiated towards the DJ-producer early on in his career. The radio host opens up about being one of the few DJ’s to even play Khaled’s to which DJ Khaled completely disagrees and even goes so far as to say that Cipha is lying. What appears to be an innocent back and forth discussion between two friends eventually gets a bit heated as Cipha rebuttals Khaled’s claims and becomes more aggressive before the visual fades to black. Guess we’ll have to wait for part two to see what happened.
King Push decides to call the In The Morning crew over at HOT 97 in New York and gives insight behind how Kanye West’s now infamous My Name Is My Name party rant came about. In fact, Pusha explains that he’s fortunate enough to hear Kanye speak that way on a regular basis and that the public is only treated to these moments when he goes off on a rant. Before getting into Pusha T’s new single “Nosetalgia” featuring Kendrick Lamar, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper lets Cipha sounds know he’s working on getting Kanye West on the Juan Epstein show. New York DJ Mister Cee had a heartfelt conversation this morning with Ebro on HOT 97. Cee was given the platform to voice his opinion on his situation and had the courage to go on-air and admit to listeners that he’s had homosexual encounters with drag queens. Though not easily coming clean at first, Cee eventually opened up about his problems as fellow HOT 97 co-worker Ebro helped him through it. There were a few moments where Cee broke down and began crying on the air, however, at one point even Funk Master Flex who at one point made his way into the room showered Cee with support and reassured him that everything would be fine. As the conversation continued, Ebro made it a point to continuously encourage Mister Cee to reconsider his decision to resign and eventually convinced him to make his return today.

Stalley, Rockie Fresh, Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Omarion and DJ Scream sit down for a lengthy interview with Hot 97. The label collectively discusses Self Made Vol. 3, Dreamcashers 3 and Stalley gets the opportunity to talk Honest Cowboy and shares his desire for commercial recognition. Ross also speaks on their recording process in the studio while Meek gets into details on his battling roots and downplays the back and forth currently going on between him and Kendrick Lamar by reassuring fans its all in good fun.
Metta World Peace recently paid Ebro a visit at HOT 97 and decided to play his new song titled “Peace” for the listeners. Metta reassured fans the track was dope after finding himself under Ebro’s inquisitive spotlight for a moment. Watch as the NBA player talks about his transition to the New York Knicks and lets the fans know what they can expect to see.
If you haven’t already heard, Papoose pulled a “Lil Mama” last night at HOT 97’s annual Summer Jam concert and was able to steal the stage for a one song performance of his new single “Get At Me” featuring Ron Browz. Following Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, and ScHoolboy Q’s performance the crowd was treated to a short set from New York MC Papoose who appeared to surprise everyone with his presence. After thoroughly investigating the matter, HOT 97’s Ebro discovered that Pap was able to pull off the stunt with the help of Kendrick Lamar and the TDE crew who purposely finished their set close to five minutes early in order to allow Pap the opportunity to perform. In the video clip below, watch as Papoose unexpectedly hits the stage and does his thing.
Ebro was also able to get the truth out from fellow radio host Peter Rosenberg the following morning who came clean that he secretly knew Papoose’s performance was going to go down but remained silent on that matter. According to Rosenberg and Ebro, the motive behind Kendrick’s assist was because years prior when K Dot was an upcoming artist Papoose looked out and took care of him. In other news, Papoose did reveal that female rapper Remy Ma will be home sometime next year. It’s going to be interesting to see what the two artists have previously recorded together or what will come from any future studio sessions.
