IMG_4405Uh oooohhh! Yes, I finally got to see Nelly in person.  Recently, while holding it down for another weekly episode of Kiss FM’s The Weekend Mixtape with the Skee TV crew, the St. Louis rapper decided to made a special appearance for viewers streaming at home.  He talked about past experiences and was open about his positive attitude for the future of his music.  In fact, Nelly Mentioned he was in the works with his new music and that he indeed was in the studio again recording a new album.  At one point in time Nelly was changing the game and had everybody loving Country Grammar. Respect is given where it’s due.

Earlier this week, the Skee TV crew hit up the Kiss FM/Clear Channel offices for an in-studio interview with rapper Kid Ink.  Check out the photo of Kid Ink I snapped just before his interview ended without a short performance for fans watching at home via live stream which is common when closing up the show.  Maybe next time.Kid Ink

For the past few weeks I’ve had the opportunity to help out at the Skee Lodge over in Hollywood w/ Crooked I’s internet radio show.  It’s definitely a professional, inviting, and fun environment to be a part of.  It’s also giving me the chance to learn a lot and get some hands on experience w/ the Canon 5D I get to shoot with.  Here’s just a quick snap I took in-studio of us while we were working on a music break.  Shout outs to Crooked I and the radio crew over at DJ Skee’s Skee 24/7 station.  Be sure to check out C.O.B. Crooked I recently made his weekly visit to the Skee Lodge where his show “C.O.B. Radio” is streamed live to fans all over the internet and via the Skee TV mobile App (download that today). It was an interesting show with discussions ranging from ass shaking commentary on video vixen Tokyo’s recent appearance in Kendrick Lamar’s video for “Backseat Freestyle” to Shawty Lo’s recent petition to reinstate his show back into a position to be aired. Check out the show every Wednesday night with the lovely co-host Somayeh at 8pm.

PHOTO: Ginny Blackmore Live From KissFM Mixtape Mondays

Ginny Blackmore recently came into the Kiss FM / Clear Channel office to perform for staff and viewers watching at home via live stream of her infectious track entitled “Bones”. I previously wasn’t familiar with her music but after yesterday’s performance she really made me a believer in her talent. The Epic Records artist has an amazing voice, charismatic attitude, and offers a powerful delivery. Be on the look out for her upcoming project.
