DJ Vlad has an over the phone interview with rapper Nelly and gets the St. Louis native to speak on his recent visit to the studio with Dr. Dre.  In fact, Nelly explains that they weren’t collaborating for anything on his latest LP but rather for the Dre.  Take a look as Nelly explains that he’s not sure what the music will be used for but does hint at a possible feature on the mysterious project which at this point feel more like an urban legend or a myth.  As the conversation continued, Nelly opened on his feelings about the merging of country and Hip Hop, the Florida Georgia Line and more.

Rapper turned actor Nelly catches up with the good folks over at Good Morning America for a brief interview and live performance of his new single “Rick James” featured on his upcoming M.O. album.  The Real Husbands of Hollywood actor shared with viewers the motivation behind his seventh solo album and addressed why he collaborating with artists from genres outside of Hip Hop.  Watch as Nelly takes the stage and performs alongside surprise guest T.I. for viewers in-studio and at home to see.

Nelly steps back out into the spotlight with his new single “100K” featuring G.O.O.D. Music artist 2 Chainz.  The track finds the St. Louis native experimenting for a new sound as he switches up his flow by rapping with a slurred and lazy delivery.  In the spirit of reinvention, Nelly sets the stage for a fitting 2 Chainz feature that finds the artist right at home over the track’s slappin’ bass and haunting synth work.

Yes, I finally got to see Nelly in person.  Recently, while holding it down for another weekly episode of Kiss FM’s The Weekend Mixtape with the Skee TV crew, the St. Louis rapper decided to made a special appearance for viewers streaming at home.  He talked about past experiences and was open about his positive attitude for the future of his music.  In fact, Nelly Mentioned he was in the works with his new music and that he indeed was in the studio again recording a new album.  At one point in time Nelly was changing the game and had everybody loving Country Grammar. Respect is given where it’s due.
