pharrellAfter Skateboard P decided to share the artwork to his upcoming album, “GIRL,” it didn’t take very long for people to notice that there wasn’t any particular dark skinned women featured on the cover.  The assumption was quickly made that perhaps Pharrell had a preference for women that weren’t black or dark skinned.  However, that could be further from the truth as Pharrell recently phoned into Power 105’s The Breakfast Club to clear things up and offer up a response to the negative feedback.

Power 105’s Charlamagne sits down for a one-on-one interview with DJ Vlad and the topic of discussion is Drake and his emotional behavior.  The radio host speaks on Drake’s reaction to the public’s opinion on his emo inspired music and explains that for Drake to even respond proves that comments get under his skin.  Charlamagne also points out the way Drake previously  downplayed Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” verse and weighs in on the back and forth between the Canadian rapper and the Compton lyricist. Never one to bite his tongue, Charlamagne went on to state that there’s three sexual orientations people should be aware of and that includes being gay, straight and Drake.  The YMCMB rapper’s previous fallout with the auto-tune champ, Future, also serves as the topic of discussion.

After getting in touch with HOT 97 and voicing his opinion, Maino decides to continue his campaign against Trinidad James and calls into Power 105 for an interview.  Maino makes it clear he feels New York is to be blamed for allowing James to feel comfortable enough to run his mouth and explains that essentially the “All Gold Everything” rapper is opening the door for more disrespect from other artists.  The rapper continued by stating that he feels the city is disorganized.  Before hanging up, Maino calls into question James’ street credibility and clarifies he’s opening to disciplining him.
