VIDEO: French Montana – Once In Awhile Ft. Max B

French Montana releases a new music video for his latest single, “Once In Awhile.”  The hard-hitting and piano driven instrumental is featured on the Bad Boy rapper’s Excuse My French LP.  The visual finds Montana posted with his feet up on top of a roof as he takes in the view, sips on some champagne and performs to the camera about his past struggles with living life out on the block.  Long-time collaborator and friend, Max B, gets a few moments to shine from behind bars as Frenchie includes several TV screens running old footage of the rapper in the beginning  for the song’s intro.  There’s also some performance footage spliced in-between with cameos from Trinidad James, Diddy, Drake, Miguel and more.

VIDEO: Step Brothers – Step Masters

Evidence and Alchemist release their first official single, “Step Master,” which will be featured on the duo’s forthcoming Lord Steppington LP.  The visual finds both artists out on the streets and engaging each other in a number of random competitions which include egg tossing, who can keep their hands in a bucket of ice the longest, beer chugging and more.  Take a look at the humorous music video which was directed by Jason Goldwatch.

Just Blaze sits down with Revolt TV to break down how JAY Z’s “Public Service Announcement” came about and made the final cut of The Black Album.  Watch as the super producer explains how he made the instrumental at during a mixing session at Battery Studios in only 10 minutes and brought it to JAY Z.  Though technically the album was already considered completed, Blaze reflects on Hov scrapping “Looking At My S. Dot’s” off the project and replacing it with “Public Service Announcement.”

Ellen does the honors of unveiling Kanye West’s latest visual for “Bound 2” which is featured on the rapper’s new Yeezus LP.  West’s girlfriend and new baby mama, Kim Kardashian, also makes an cameo in the video as she rides a motorcycle on top of Yeezy’s lap and gives the camera some stares.  The Nick Knight directed music video looks like it was shot entirely in front of a green screen.

Casey Veggies links up with DJ Vlad for an exclusive interview on Vlad TV.  The young rapper give viewers perspective on his friendship with Frank Ocean and admits he wasn’t surprised when the singer announced to the world he was gay.  Veggies also clarified he respects Ocean’s decision and reassures viewers the two artists have unfinished songs together that he hopes to release one day.  Frank Ocean and Chris Brown’s infamous beef serves as the topic of dicussion as Young Veggies does the politically correct thing and plays the neutral role.  Before calling it a wrap, Veggies admits to the camera that he most likely would have to pass on a collaboration with an openly gay emcee if the opportunity ever presented itself.

Power 105’s Charlamagne sits down for a one-on-one interview with DJ Vlad and the topic of discussion is Drake and his emotional behavior.  The radio host speaks on Drake’s reaction to the public’s opinion on his emo inspired music and explains that for Drake to even respond proves that comments get under his skin.  Charlamagne also points out the way Drake previously  downplayed Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” verse and weighs in on the back and forth between the Canadian rapper and the Compton lyricist. Never one to bite his tongue, Charlamagne went on to state that there’s three sexual orientations people should be aware of and that includes being gay, straight and Drake.  The YMCMB rapper’s previous fallout with the auto-tune champ, Future, also serves as the topic of discussion.
