Vlad TV catches up with the former MTV Pimp My Ride host and Detroit native Xzibit backstage at the How The West Was Won concert.  The rapper opens up and shares his thoughts on Kendrick Lamar’s controversial “Control” verse and explains to the camera that the Compton bred rapper’s aggressive move should be applauded.  X to the Z continues with reassuring fans his upcoming collaborative project with Demrick and B-Real (Serial Killers) will be releasing soon as well as his solo album which is slated to drop sometime next year.

NEWS: Eminem Announces Marshall Mathers LP 2 + More


A new Beats By Dre commercial was premiered tonight at the MTV Video Music Awards for Eminem’s upcoming Marshall Mathers LP 2.  According to the announcement, the new album will be available November 5 and it also boasts credits from JAY Z and Rick Rubin as executive producers.  Fans also get a taste of things to come as the short clip showcases a teaser of Eminem’s new single “Bezerk” which will be released in its entirety this Tuesday.

Apparently, Pusha T has no desire to smooth things over with Lil Wayne any time soon.  The Clipse member sat down recently with Q Deezy over in Philly and discussed his music, his difference in taste of Hip Hop artists compared to Kanye West, MTV’s Hottest Mcs, and his beef with Lil Wayne.  Pusha shared some choice words when Q attempted to encourage a future collaboration with the YMCMB skateboarder that pretty much summed up exactly how he feels.

“I don’t want to see that though…I don’t want to see that…nah why?  You acting like this is Carter II Man…get out of here…all these people out here rapping good and you goin’ tell me you want to see me with…you disrespected me Q Dezzy…you going crazy!”

Talib Kweli talks to Hard Knock Tv’s Nick Huff Barili after his performance at the Samsung Galaxy Sound Stage during the SXSW 2013 festival. The interview starts off with Kweli reminiscing about how he was inspired by Doug E Fresh growing up. As topics switch, Kweli talks about why he chose to name his up coming album Prisoner of Conscious and shares what we can expect from it. Talib goes on to share his opinion on MTV’s Hottest MC In The Game list, saying that its a popularity contest and that if the list was Best MC in the Game then his name should be on there. Before we let him go, the BK MC shares a J Dilla memory, whom he shouted out during his performance.
