Mariah Carey recently paid Angie Martinez a visit at HOT 97 in New York for an exclusive one-on-one interview.  In the clip shown, Carey is questioned about her time as a judge on the popular television show, American Idol, and explains to Martinez that the experience for her was like working in hell with satan.  It’s no secret the R&B diva bumped head numerous times with Nicki Minaj who also served also served as a judge on the show, however, Carey was careful not to reveal who she exactly was comparing to be Satan-like.  Another interesting point the songstress decided touch on was that she loved many of the contestants but was disappointed when certain acts wouldn’t progress in the competition due to politics rather than talent.

Here’s a short new promo clip courtesy of NBC which features Eminem and Kerry Washington.  Eminem will serve as the sketch comedy shows musical guest this Saturday while Washington will do the honors of hosting the latest episode.  Watch as Marshall decides to keep a straight face, refrain from really moving at all and does little to engage the camera.  Meanwhile, Washington showcases her bubbly and outgoing attitude as she playfully announces plans for her and Eminem to grab some cupcakes following the show’s taping.

Backed by the band the Roots and legendary singer Charlie Wilson on the vocals, Kanye West decides to make a surprise guest on Jimmy Fallon’s Late Night Show.  However, the bigger news from the performance came about when Kanye decided to finally address Ray J’s “I Hit It First” diss with a jab of his own during his live set.  The G.O.O.D.
