VIDEO: Kendrick Lamar Allegedly Takes Shot At Drake During 2013 BET Cypher

Kendrick Lamar participated last weekend in the BET Awards’ annual cypher sessions along with the rest of TDE and footage has now surfaced of the Compton emcee throwing what appear to be subliminal jabs in the direction of YMCMB rapper Drake.  Courtesy of the short clip provided by AllHopHop, K-Dot can be seen dropping a few bars which include, “And nothing been the same since they dropped Control, and tucked a sensitive rapper back in his pajama clothes.”  Needless to say, all signs appear to be pointed in Drake’s direction, however, it hasn’t been officially confirmed by Kendrick or any of his people if that is truly the case.  You read between the lines.

Joaquin Phoenix Reveals He Didn’t Produce Pusha T’s “King Push”

It’s no secret that as of late actor Joaquin Phoenix’s name has bee making its rounds throughout the world of Hip Hop after it was announced he was behind the production for Pusha T’s “King Push.”  According to XXL, the Hip Hop publication reports the claim is false and that the credit actually belongs to a young producer who has yet to be identified.  Take a look at the official statement allegedly issued to XXL from Phoenix.

Canadian fans recently rejoiced as Detroit native Danny Brown was finally let into the country to perform alongside Action Bronson on the 2 High 2 Die Tour.  After already missing four separate dates, it appeared that Brown would never be allowed access as his previous attempts to cross the border were repeatedly denied.  Take a look at the footage that’s surfaced which showcases Danny performing “Side B(Dope Song)” and “Dip” live from Danforth Music Hall.
