VIDEO: Toca Tuesdays Freestyle w/ Mac Miller, Prodigy, & Alchemist
Last week, Prodigy and Alchemist made a visit to Toca Tuesdays to have a sit down and discuss their new collaborative LP Albert Einstein with DJ Tony Touch. Mac Miller who was in the building decided to crash the interview and subsequently ended up partaking in a spontaneous freestyle session with P and ALC. Watch as all three artists do their thing on the mic and deliver a special cypher live on the air for Shade 45 listeners.
AUDIO: AZ – Oil Money Freestyle
Sosa is back at it with “Oil Money Gang Freestyle”. The rapper decides to go in over Jadakiss and Rick Ross’ new “Oil Money Gang” single and drop his own tales of cash, drugs, and hustling over the smooth J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League instrumental. AZ closes the track out with an added vocal sample from the film Scarface for effect. Take a listen to Sosa’s latest track below via the audio stream and be sure to download it if you’re feeling it.
AUDIO: Juicy J – Bounce It Ft. Wale & Trey Songz
Juicy J drops another hot single with “Bounce It” featuring Wale and Trey Songz off his upcoming Stay Trippy album. Clearly a track constructed for the stripper poles and clubs, Juicy and company encourage their female “evening entertainment” to keep it bouncing and to put in that work in order to see those big Benjamin bills and have thousands rain on the stage. The upbeat track is very catchy and is perfectly suited for Juicy’s type of audience and has potential to be a radio hit once cleaned up with an appropriate extra clean version.
VIDEO: T.I. – Check This, Dig That Ft. Trae The Truth
T.I. takes to the net to deliver his new music video for “Check This, Dig That” featuring Trae The Truth off Touble Man: Heavy Is The Head. The bonus cut off the album takes the simplistic approach with a black and white appearance and finds both artists surrounded by Hustle Gang friends and family. Take a look at the visual above to see Tip and Trae in action.
VIDEO: ScHoolboy Q Says Don’t Buy Mac Miller’s New Album
Mass Appeal recently caught up with Mac Miller and ScHoolboy to talk about the Rostrum Records artist’s new album Watching Movies With The Sound Off. Q gives his take on the project and gives it somewhat of a review. Joking throughout the entire shoot, Q advises viewers not to buy Mac’s album because his music is so bad and also states that he shouldn’t even be hanging out with Mac Miller anymore but not before threatening to beat him up. Needless to say it’s obvious these two are good friends and in a funny demeanor are practicing a different take on promoting on the album.
AUDIO: Eminem – Symphony In H
DJ and Shade 45 radio host Tony Touch finally dropped a quick snippet of the anticipated new Eminem song “Symphony In H” which is set to be featured on his upcoming Piece Maker 3: Return Of The 50 MC’s project dropping July 9. It’s refreshing to hear Eminem back at it and with a vintage slim Shady vibe. Em kicks it the only way he knows how with sinister rhymes and sick lyrical wordplay which puts all the hype in perspective of just why the song has caught so much attention when the track list for the project first surfaced.
UPDATE: The CDQ version of the track drops via Shady Records official sound cloud page.
VIDEO: Juicy J – Trippy Tour | Pt. 7
Juicy J and company share some behind the scenes and special moments caught on the road that compile the last stretch of the Stay Trippy Tour. In part seven, the finale showcases Juicy busy in the studio working on new music, making a visit to The Source magazine in New York for an interview, performing at multiple venues including one in Ohio with rapper Machine Gun Kelly, almost running into a tornado with his tour bus, smoking plenty of weed and of course managing to live the trippy lifestyle every step of the way.
VIDEO: Juicy J Brings Out Wiz Khalifa For “The Plan” In Hollywood
I can’t even lie. Seeing just how hyped the venue was and how great of a show Juicy put on for the crowd has me a little salty I wasn’t able to attend and cover the event. Originally, I was suppose to be delivering to all of you some exclusive content for the site, however, I got jammed up at the door by House of Blues employees and security. I was told though I had access to the show, I wouldn’t be allowed to shoot any video due to “venue policy”. In the clip above, that’s clearly a video camera on stage filming Juicy and the epic moment that took place with Wiz Khalifa hitting the stage to perform “The Plan” off his O.N.I.F.C. album. Perhaps I was not worthy enough to professionally cover the event for unknown reasons? Whatever.
Still, check out some cool visuals of Juicy J closing out his Stay Trippy tour and performing “The Plan” with Wiz live in Hollywood. There is also a cameo from Big Sean who apparently was in attendance along with the likes of Miley Cyrus and others. Take a look at some backstage footage of the gang blowing smoke and celebrating another successful sold out show to cap things off with.
VIDEO: Prodigy – Dough Pildin’ (Prod. By Alchemist)
If you haven’t heard or picked up the collaborative album Albert Einstein from Mobb Deep’s Prodigy and producer Alchemist yet you’re sleepin’. The duo’s last collaborative effort was 2007’s Return of The Mac. Fast forward to 2013, the emcee and producer are still at it and delivering that classic gritty, gutter and sample based sound they’ve mastered with the latest single and video for “Dough Pildin” off the album. Check out P push through the city while offering up friendly reminders of his accomplishments in the game and spittin’ raw verses about doing whatever needs to be done to keep his money pildin’.
