The Trill O.G. is still hard at work as he drops off his latest single, “Cake,” which is featured on the Houston spitter’s new album, The Epilogue.  The smooth laid-back track also features a chorus from the late Pimp C, a verse from incarcerated rapper Lil Boosie and Mississippi’s Big K.R.I.T. shows up to close things out.  Take a listen as the rappers kick some Southern playeristic rhymes about the female derriere and stackin’ cash.  The Epilogue is now available in stores.

2 Chainz releases his new music video for “Fork” which is featured on the G.O.O.D. Music artist’s B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time LP.  The visual finds 2 Chainz performing to the camera in a dimly lit trap house as the rapper and his crew whip up that work to sell out on the streets.  Check out the Atlanta D-boy as he shares his love for stackin’ cash and instructs viewers to hit the pot on the stove with a fork to get that product where it needs to be.

Maryland’s Logic joined DJ Skee for an exclusive interview and performance on episode 14 of AXS TV’s SKEE Live. Kicking the show off with a live rendition of “5AM” and “Young Jedi,” Logic captivated fans with his undeniable stage presence and showmanship.

Backed by his loyal RattPack fans who were very much in attendance, the humble artist sat down with Skee to discuss his early introduction to hip hop, influences and the story behind his nicknames for his devoted fans. The rising star also got into details behind his motivation to be the best in the game and shared a story about the first time he met Nas and the way he felt afterwards when he learned the legendary emcee was a fan. As the conversation continued between the two, Logic opened up about who he’d like to work with and reassured viewers that his forthcoming album will be released in 2014. Before heading out, fans got the opportunity to ask the young rapper a number of random questions via Twitter before Logic hit the stage to close out the show with “Ballin.”

This week’s “Spotlight” segment showcased the sexy songstress known as Nayer. The Cuban beauty addressed her family roots, her humble beginnings in music and what it was like to collaborate with Ne-Yo and Pitbull for “Give Me Everything.” Nayer made it clear to viewers that she is working hard in order to step up as strong voice for women everywhere.

DJ Skee did the honors of unveiling two new music videos from DJ Whoo Kid with “More Champagne” and “Shinin’ Like I’m Las Vegas.” Both songs are set to be featured on the G-Unit member’s upcoming N-Word Bond project. “More Champagne” showcases the talents of Wiz Khalifa, Problem and A$AP Ferg while California’s Nipsey Hussle holds it down on “Shinin’ Like I’m Las Vegas.”

Viewers were also treated to a second interview with MMG’s Omarion. Looking like a seasoned vet in front of the camera, Omarion spoken on his new Care Package 2 mixtape, the evolution of his career, touring the world and gave viewers insight into how he was able to ink a deal with Rick Ross. The former B2K member also touched on the current state of R&B and explained that he only wants to make music that listeners can identify and connect with.

Boxer Danny Garcia was highlighted in this week’s “Up Close.” Garcia got into details on his Philly roots, his relationship with his father and what it took for him to avoid trouble out on the block in order to pursue his dream. Danny also shared his excitement to earn a sponsorship with Jordan and admitted that he still feels like he’s an underdog in the sport but continues to move forward.

With the recent release of Apple’s iPad Air, DJ Skee manages to get his hands on one and sits down for an exclusive review of the new lightweight and advanced tablet.

French Montana is busy in the studio as he gears up to release his new mixtape, Mac & Cheese 4.  As fans anxiously wait for the rappers latest offering to hit the net, Frenchie decides to turn the anticipation up by unveiling the project’s official artwork.  Montana takes the arts and crafts route as the cover features a pile of gold colored macaroni molded into the shape of a number four that sits on top of a pile of cocaine.  The Bad Boy artist also shows up on the cover in the form of a reflection in a spoon that sits besides the macaroni along with a fork.  No telling when fans will be able to ride the coke wave as there is still no release date that’s been announced.

 

VIDEO: Tyler The Creator Brings Out Kanye West At Odd Future Carnival

Odd Future’s second annual carnival went down last night and fans in attendance were treated to a special surprise performance from none other than Kanye West.  The G.O.O.D. Music artist was introduced to the stage by Tyler and performed “New Slaves” and his classic Late Registration cut, “Late.”  Before ushering Yeezus to the stage, the Los Angeles bred artist explained to the crowd that he personally asked Ye to join him and to perform one of his all time favorite songs.  Check out Tyler as he plays hype man alongside Kanye and recites the lyrics to “Late.”

DJ-producer J-Love links up with Method Man for a new collaborative joint titled “Late Night.”  The song finds both artists going to work over a mellow sample based instrumental courtesy of J-Love.  The duo keeps it straight street as they kick rhymes about questionable artists in the game who claim to put in work and talk tough.

Drake’s “Would You Like A Tour?” recently made a stop in New Orleans and fans were treated to a special preview of the YMCMB rapper’s upcoming music video for “Worst Behavior.”  Shot on location in Memphis, TN, the track is featured on Drizzy’s new Nothing Was The Same LP.  The X directed visual also showcases cameos from Juicy J, Project Pat and Drake’s father, Dennis Graham.
