VIDEO: Statik Selektah & Duck Down Records To Outsell Kanye West, J. Cole, & Mac Miller

In a comedic promotional video, Statik Selektah heads over to the Duck Down Records office to discuss his surprise of having to now compete with the likes of Kanye West, J. Cole, and Mac Miller on the same June 18 release day for Extended Play.  

After learning that Kanye West, Mac Miller & J. Cole will also be dropping albums on June 18th, Statik Selektah heads to the Duck Down office to discuss his concerns with Dru Ha & Noah. Statik’s worries are alleviated after hearing Duck Down’s marketing plan to assure that his ‘Extended Play’ album, also dropping June 18th, will reach #1.

Mac drops the new visual for his new single “S.D.S.” which stands for somebody do something.  If you watched Mac’s show on MTV2 you know that throughout the season he was constantly shouting somebody do something periodically throughout different episodes.  This now puts everything into perspective as Miller takes the role as mad scientist who gives himself special powers and ends up being a super hero.  Take a look at the video above and let me know what you think of Mac’s new look.

VIDEO: Mac Miller Speaks On Donald Trump’s Tweets

“I can’t tell if he’s showing me love or being a douche bag,” Miller explained following Trump’s past tweets that found him praising the smash record. Except these messages sort of read more subliminal than congratulatory, according to Mac. “You expect it to be love off top. He’s doing [all this] suspect shit like, ‘You’re welcome Mac Miller’— You’re welcome for what? You want me to change the song name to Bill Gates? Whatever. [Laughs]”
