Mariah Carey recently paid Angie Martinez a visit at HOT 97 in New York for an exclusive one-on-one interview.  In the clip shown, Carey is questioned about her time as a judge on the popular television show, American Idol, and explains to Martinez that the experience for her was like working in hell with satan.  It’s no secret the R&B diva bumped head numerous times with Nicki Minaj who also served also served as a judge on the show, however, Carey was careful not to reveal who she exactly was comparing to be Satan-like.  Another interesting point the songstress decided touch on was that she loved many of the contestants but was disappointed when certain acts wouldn’t progress in the competition due to politics rather than talent.

Joe Budden and Tahiry stop by Hot 97 for an exclusive interview off the air with Ebro and Peter Rosenberg.  The two share their thoughts on not being at the forefront of this season’s Love & Hip Hop and the current drama between Peter Gunz and Amina.  Ebro also took the opportunity to admit that he has no shame and has tried to hit on Tahiry before in the past via text message.  Joe and Tahiry play things off real smooth as the couple refused to confirm or deny if they were together and simply refereed to themselves as homies.  Budden reassures viewers that the new Slaughterhouse album is on the way and will follow Eminem’s promotional run for his new Marshall Mathers LP 2.  Joe also revealed that the project is the group’s best work to date and they are choosing between 40 different songs to determine what will make the final tracklist.

DJ Khaled and Rick Ross recently made their way over to HOT 97 to have a sit down with Ebro, Peter Rosenberg and Cipha Sounds.  Watch as Ciph takes the opportunity to confront DJ Khaled about not showing the same love and support back that he initiated towards the DJ-producer early on in his career.  The radio host opens up about being one of the few DJ’s to even play Khaled’s to which DJ Khaled completely disagrees and even goes so far as to say that Cipha is lying.  What appears to be an innocent back and forth discussion between two friends eventually gets a bit heated as Cipha rebuttals Khaled’s claims and becomes more aggressive before the visual fades to black.  Guess we’ll have to wait for part two to see what happened.
