LupeFiascoLupe Fiasco drops a new 13 minute controversial music video called “#1234” which covers three songs from last years  Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1.  “Lamborghini Angels”, “ITAL (Roses)” and “Audubon Ballroom” all get the visual treatment and are packed with powerful subliminal imagery addressing socio-political issues, race, objectification of women, drugs, stereotypes, vanity, materialism and plenty other sensitive topics.

lupefiasco2At the center of Lupe’s cross-hairs is the culture of Hip Hop and the media’s influence on the public and young minorities who are programmed to embrace negative and persuasive imagery and carry out self destructive behavior.  Directed by Alex Nazari, “#1234” is definitely in a political class of its own with Lupe anxiously at the forefront to promote his agenda.

Timbaland sits down with Revolt TV for an exclusive interview and goes into detail about the creation of Jay-Z’s new album Magna Carta Holy Grail.  Timbo shares detailed information on his vital role in the project and making amends with Jigga man to finally come back together and creatively put a great album together.  During the lengthy interview, Timberland also opens up on his thoughts regarding Kanye West’s new Yeezus album and his hopes that him and Ye will join forces and work together on his next LP to create a timeless masterpiece.  Interestingly enough, Tim also reveals that at one point he was addicted to prescription pain killers and explains how he now finds himself in a better place and looks forward to retiring in the future.
