He may still be locked up behind bars but New York MC Fat Joe keeps the momentum going for his Darkside III mixtape with a new music video for “MGM.”  Directed by Eif Rivera, the black and white visual finds Joe performing to the camera throughout different locations in his city and pushin’ in the Maserati with a fine woman in the passenger seat.

Freddie Gibbs and Madlib are back with a new song called “Harold’s” which is currently featured on the rap duo’s upcoming Deeper EP.  Packed with cautionary rhymes and tough street talk, Gibbs laces the smooth track with his familiar menacing flow while producer Madlib hooks the instrumental up with a soulful sample for a catchy loop.  The Deeper EP is set to release tomorrow and will contain two new original songs as well as instrumentals and bonus beats.

The lovely Estelle drops a new track collaborative track with Jim Jones titled “I Don’t Wanna Stay” which will be featured on her Love & Happiness 2: Waiting To Exhale.  The British songstress shares her frustration with feeling trapped in an unsatisfying and confusing relationship.  Jones takes the perspective of the male love interest and spits some defensive lyrics which attempt to make sense of the troubled situation with its ups and downs.

French Montana releases his latest music video for “Trap House” featuring Rick Ross and Birdman.  The trap house anthem is featured on Montana’s Excuse My French LP which is available to purchase.  Watch as Frenchie and company hit the streets for some gritty looking visuals as the rappers pull out their luxury vehicles for background props and perform to the camera.

AUDIO: Step Brothers – “Nothing To See/Hear”

Long-time collaborators, friends and Step Brothers members Evidence and The Alchemist release a new instrumental titled “Nothing To See/Hear.”  Though the new promotional track will not be featured on the duo’s upcoming Lord Steppington project, EV and ALC instead decide to release it for free to accompany Evidence’s latest clothing collaboration with Diamond Supply.  Listen as the first half of the track features a instrumental laced with a mellow boom-bap vibe and a interesting choice for a vocal sample from an old 50 Cent interview during his past beef with Cam’ron.  Towards the middle of the song, fans get to hear a few bars from Evidence but the track eventually jumps back into an ominous sounding instrumental laced with crow samples and eerie keys before reaching the song’s soulful outro.

Premiering in its entirety this Wednesday, the Dr. Phil show releases a short promotional teaser for Phil’s intimate one-on-one interview with trouble rap star DMX.  In the video clip, X can be seen trading a few responses back and forth with the Dr. Phil as they touch on his recent decision to run nude through a Detroit hotel, the difficulty of being an artist and a father to his children and the outstanding amount he owes in child support.  Earl will make his appearance on the show September 25.

Oprah recently took to her twitter over the weekend and shared a photo of herself partying the night away with Diddy and Kanye West at Jimmy Iovine’s house.  The music producer and American Idol mentor hosted the exclusive birthday celebration in honor of his girlfriend Liberty Ross.  Other guests that were in attendance included Mick Jagger, Kim Kardashian, Dr. Dre, Brian Grazer, Gayle King and R. Kelly who decided to put on a live performance.

While out in Sydney, Australia for a performance at the OutsideIn Festival, Gibbs decided to treat the crowd overseas to some new unreleased music.  One crowd goer decided to capture the moment as it went down.  Watch as Gangsta Gibbs jumps into the new street track with his signature aggressive flow and goes to work over the song’s pounding bass and high pitched keys before transitioning into Pusha T’s “Blocka” instrumental.
