The Easter edition KD V releases at select Nike Basketball retailers this Saturday, March 30th. This Version of the KD V is inspired by the tradition of Easter egg decorating features a colorful Turquoise Blue Hyperfuse upper with accents in ‘Bright Citrus’ orange. A light minty green is also seen on the tongue and outsole. To go along with the Easter egg theme, speckled patterns are seen on the Swooshes and visible Air Max unit.
It’s 2013 and the Jordan Spiz’ike is still running strong and continues to remain Jordan Brand’s most popular hybrid model. Dubbed “Poison Green”, these Spiz’kes take on a Easter-inspired colorway that comes just in time for the sunny Spring season. Made from smooth suede and patent leather materials, this style is definitely unlike anything we’ve seen before. Highlighted by its stealth and poison green accents, these kicks are brightened up by additional hits of university blue, blitz blue, yellow, and a subtle vivid sulpher tone.
Nike released Barkley Posite Max “Eggplant” on March 23rd. Building upon the silhouette’s successful debut as a part of this year’s All-Star “Area 72″ collection, the Barkley Posite Max is set to return this weekend in a brand new “Eggplant” colorway inspired by the classic edition of the Foamposite One. Pairing an Eggplant Foamposite upper with black nubuck and mesh across the upper, the kicks feature additional details like a speckled Max Air unit, a glow-in-the-dark outsole, and turquoise accents throughout. What really sets these off, however, is the iridescent sheen applied to the entirety of the Foamposite shell — giving the Barkley-inspired hybrid a pearlescent, color-changing aspect reminiscent of last year’s “Invisibility Cloak” Kobe VII from Nike Basketball.
Frenchie recently caught up with Big Boy at Power 106 and the two discussed his current beef with G-Unit general 50 Cent. Montana also kind of clarifies that he had nothing to do with the infamous video that 50 acquired years ago while beefing with DJ Khaled of his mother sleeping at what looked like at work. You believe him? What do you think?
BBC recently reported that Kanye West’s upcoming new album was going to be titled I Am God. This caused a lot of controversy online because the foundation for the information used to run with the story was vague and questionable. As the people became more outspoken and the rumor progressed the Huffington Post decided to reach out to West’s camp to get some clarity about the matter. Looks like the title is also a reference to Psalm 82. Click the link to read more in detail.
A reliable source in West’s camp tells HuffPost Entertainment that the title is actual for an upcoming single, and that the album’s name has yet to be set. The track will be called “I Am A God” (emphasis added).
Cameras were rolling behind the scenes for Gunplay’s new music video for “Bible on The Dash”. Take a look as the MMG rapper has a few choice words for G-Unit’s Tony Yayo and also sits down to answer a couple of questions and fill people in on what he’s been up to.
Joe budden releases his latest video for “NBA” and features verses from the Wiz and Frenchie. Take a listen as they remind all of us that never again will they under any circumstance allow themselves to go broke again. I can get behind that type of message.
