State Property member Peedi Crakk is back with a new music video for his freestyle over Redman’s classic track “Tonight’s Da Night.” The former Roc-A-Fella artist and Philly native shows off his crafty wordplay as he effortlessly drops rhymes about his hustler mentality, life out on the streets and his drive to succeed no matter the cost. Peedi also takes a second to keep it all the way thorough as he spits over the smooth instrumental about his past shortcomings and what it took for him to bounce back against the odds.
Rapper Redman delivers a new music video for “Pump Ya Breaks” which will be featured on the veteran’s forthcoming Muddy Waters 2 project. Handling things gorilla style, Redman takes to the streets with a few friends to shoot his new visual. Watch as the upbeat artist has some fun with the camera and takes the opportunity to put some women on notice that they need to pump their brakes.
This is great. Redman drops a lighthearted and comical music video for his latest offering with “My 2nd Lighter”. The collaborative visual with DJ Scoob Doo finds Red dropping bars over Nas’ “My 2nd Childhood” and hitting the streets in search of a lighter to spark up the greenery with. Redman definitely doesn’t take himself too serious in his new visual as he spits cautionary lyrics about keeping an eye on your lighter as he warns they are typically stolen by other smokers or come up missing.
Method Man recently during a 4/20 show in Denver took the opportunity to address the crowd and clarify that “he started that shit” when it came to crowd walking. Now I don’t completely agree with that statement because there have been plenty of acts in different genres that have come years before Method Man. However, when it comes to Hip Hop I can’t remember the last time I saw someone do crazy antics like that in the crowd but Method Man and Redman has done his share of questionable things. Still, I do agree that Method Man was doing crowd walking far before Macklemore probably even picked up a microphone. Check out this clip where Method Man explained while on stage and proceeded to do his business.
We thought you guys might get a kick out of this. Method Man lets Macklemore know what’s up when it comes to crowd walking. This took place at the 420 Method Man / Redman concert sponsored by WeedMaps, The Clinic, and Homegrown Outfitters at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver, Colorado 4/20/13.
This is an interesting documentary I caught on the Fuse channel maybe almost a year and a half ago. It’s really cool and takes you behind the scenes during the 2004 festival. This was a big moment in hip-hop history and something the fans were looking forward to for quite some time. However, the idea of getting every member of the Wu-Tang together again for a live performance was definitely easier said then done. If you like great documentaries and especially ones about hip hop you’ll love this one.
With weather nearly in the triple digits, Its The Daily was in the trenches for Rock The Bells 2012 in San Bernardino. Check out the gallery of photos taken over the weekend of some of your favorite artists in the hip hop game today! Look out for tons of video coverage from Collective State TV coming up.
