At the top of the month, Action Bronson took to Twitter to deliver the news that his upcoming collaborative mixtape with producer Party Supplies, Blue Chips 2, would be released the first day in November. As a result, most fans were somewhat puzzled at the announcement and at first all they could really do was cross their fingers and patiently wait. However, fans no longer need to wait in anticipation as Bronsolini took to Twitter again today and officially dropped the news that fans can expect the project on November 1
BET continues to build up the anticipation for the 2013 Hip Hop Awards as they continue to deliver teasers and this time in comes in the form of an Action Bronson bonus cypher clip. Watch as the charismatic rapper and former chef plays to the camera drops bars from his upbeat single “Strictly 4 My Jeeps” which is featured on his collaborative project Saaab Stories with producer Harry Fraud.
Termanology is back with another standout track called “Take My Turn” featuring Action Bronson and singer Jared Evan off his his new album titled Goya (Guns or Yay Available). Produced by Shorty Fuz, the smooth track finds Term dropping braggadocios rhymes on his female interests, living the high life and hitting the streets to put in work while Bronson follows suit but finds the time to include raps about different cuisines. Evan takes the wheel on the track’s melodic chorus.
Here’s a new track from DJ and producer Diplo called “Rock Steady” that will be featured on his new Revolution EP. The song also features the services of Action Bronson, Riff Raff, Mr MFN eXquire and Nicky Da B as they turn the energy up over the odd sounding sampled based production courtesy of Diplo. Canadian fans recently rejoiced as Detroit native Danny Brown was finally let into the country to perform alongside Action Bronson on the 2 High 2 Die Tour. After already missing four separate dates, it appeared that Brown would never be allowed access as his previous attempts to cross the border were repeatedly denied. Fat Joe leaks a new cut titled “Your Honor” off his upcoming Darkside III mixtape. Produced by DJ Premier, the New York MC gets reacquainted with his gritty roots and shows off his lyrical skills. The sample based song finds Joe dropping introspective bars about his life and even addressing the judge who recently sentenced the rapper to four months in prison for tax evasion. Action Bronson also showcases a verse on the song which finds the Queens native fitting right in on Premo’s production. Action Bronson continues to take his act on the road as he recently landed in Ft. Lauderdale to perform for a venue full of fans. However, one fan ended up getting too excited and left with security after deciding to crash Bam Bam’s stage. The crowd-goer thought it was wise to jump on stage and try and score a hug from the Queens rapper. Bronson was not amused and took the man down with sweeping his legs out from under him and sending him to the floor. Check out the video below to see how it all went down.
