Hopsin releases a new music video for “Hop Is Back” which is featured on the young rapper’s upcoming Knock Madness project releasing on November 26. The visual finds a conservative Hopsin watering the grass outside his home until his signature rebellious attitude is evoked out of him by a group of heckling fans. The rapper eventually decides to take his aggression out on his fans and subsequently beats a couple up, steals their bicycles and even finds the time to diss Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar.
The Showcase is back with a new episode featuring upcoming Rap artist Fresh. Most recently featured on Mally Mall’s hit new single “Drop Bands On It” featuring Wiz Khalifa and Tyga, Fresh speaks on his humble beginnings in the music industry with Skee.TV. Fresh also details his story and talks being influenced by Tupac Shakur, pursuing Hip Hop after High School and eventually catching a break after meeting The Game through a mutual friend. However, Fresh explains after the former G-Unit rapper landed his deal with Aftermath, he eventually found himself back on the streets and regrouping for a new creative direction.
Speaking candidly with cameras, Fresh also enlightens fans on what he’s been busy working on over the last year as he’s been in and out the studio with the likes of Kid Red, The Game and Wiz Khalifa. The rapper also touches on how his collaboration with Mally Mall came about, his growth as an artist and explains Wiz Khalifa has too many artists signed to Taylor Gang for him to ever consider jumping on the label.
Iggy lets the fans know she’s got that “good good” on her latest single and video for “Change Your Life” featuring rap star TIP. Azalea shows off her sexy figure and lyrical skills over the commercial friendly jam which follows the female MC hanging out pool to the stage for what feels like a big broadway number. Needless to say, the visuals are pretty busy and keep your attention as Iggy Azalea goes to work and does what she does best.
DJ Enuff and the That’s Enuff Crew got the opportunity to sit in on Meek Mill’s recent studio session for Dreamchasers 3 and were treated to an exclusive track. Titled “Kendrick You Next,” the unreleased freestyle showcases Meek lyrically going in over a number of instrumentals and setting his aim on Cassidy with a quick warning shot at Kendrick Lamar followed at the end.
Timbaland reveals to Revolt TV that he was chosen by L.A. Reid to produce a new Michael Jackson album. The super producer tells the cameras that he’s currently sitting on a bunch of unreleased material and shares that the first single will be titled “Chicago.” Timbo also gives details on a conversation he shared with the “King of Pop” on the phone and is looking forward to delivering something special that true MJ fans can appreciate.
As Danny Brown’s OLD LP approaches its September 30 release date, the Detroit native decides to give his alternative sounding “ODB” song the visual treatment. Produced by Paul White, the track centers around an ominous sounding sample that syncs perfect with Brown’s high pitched and aggressive flow. The visual is pretty dope and looks like it’s capturing the essence of what a bad mushroom trip would look like with its vibrant colors and Danny’s face that continuously gets oddly distorted.
Rapper 2 Chainz was arrested early this morning in Oklahoma along with 11 other passengers after his bus was stopped following a performance on Lil Wayne’s tour. According to the news report below and TMZ, the driver was taken off the bus at some point and as he made his exit, the door was shut and locked behind him. As a result, a standoff with police ensued for some hours as 2 Chainz and company decided not to partake in an illegal search and seizure and refused to allow police access. A search warrant was eventually obtained but in the meantime a tow truck was called out and hauled everyone away until police got what they needed. According to TMZ, once inside, Police discovered an unspecified amount of an unknown drug and all passengers were arrested on charges of “interfering with the police process”
This all started after police apparently pulled 2 Chainz’s bus over for broken taillights and when they approached the vehicle noticed signs of drug use according to TMZ. However, the G.O.O.D. Music artist’s ordeal is over as the rapper and his crew were released from custody a few hours later. Check out the video below as TMZ was there to capture the moment in all its glory as 2 Chainz decided to give everyone the bird and a friendly reminder that his album is releasing soon.
