Joey Bada$$ combines forces with Akomplice clothing for a new capsule collection in honor of legendary Detroit producer, J Dolla. A seven-inch of the Pro Era rapper’s new song, “Two Lips,” is set to be included in the capsule and features the young lyricist showcasing his skills with a freestyle over an unreleased Dilla instrumental. Fans can pick up the new Akomplice capsule when it drops on November 29 and proceeds will go the J Dilla foundation.

Ashanti is back in the mix with her new single, “I Got It,” and the track also features MMG front man Rick Ross. Backed by vibrant keys and choppy claps, the singer has some fun and gets explicit with her love interest about her bedroom predictions and seductive ways. Though the song originally premiered back in July as a radio rip, the official version now boasts an all new verse from Ricky Rozay. “I Got It” will be featured on Ashanti’s forthcoming album, Braveheart, which is scheduled to hit shelves early 2014.

Mack Wilds’ smash single, “Own It,” gets a new look with the help of DTP’s Ludacris who decides to lace the infectious track with his own verse. Drake’s “Would You Like A Tour?” recently stopped in Los Angeles and the YMCMB rapper decided to treat the Staples Center crowd to a special performance from Snoop Dogg. The Long Beach native and hometown hero hit the stage in the middle of Drizzy’s set and performed a couple of his classics like “The Next Episode,” “Gin & Juice” and “Drop It Like It’s Hot.” Take a look as the Doggfather almost takes a bad spill right in the beginning as he makes his way down the stairs.

West also revealed that in the studio he really has no preference between an MPC or ASR, the moment he realized his step brother was a crackhead, looks back on working with J Dilla and explains that Michael Jackson was responsible for motivating him to put together 808s and Heartbreak. Before calling it a wrap, Kanye took the opportunity to call out the former heads of Rawkus Records for passing up on signing him because they felt he didn’t have a certain look.
