Or maybe if you’re black, start singing like a country singer and be a white person. I don’t know. Why is it such a big deal? This is the entertainment industry. It’s not politics. You should be more concerned about the message, not the voices saying it.
Pusha T reveals the artwork to accompany his latest single titled “Nosetalgia” featuring Compton native Kendrick Lamar. Continuing with Pusha’s minimal creative direction, the artwork sports a black silhouette of the G.O.O.D. Music rapper against a white backdrop. “We gave two perspectives [on the song]. [Kendrick Lamar] was giving more, looking from the inside of his home and how his family and his crusade through the drug epidemic affected him. I was giving you the junior high, high school start, showing you what it was and where I was at.”

Rockie Fresh delivers his new music for “Panera Beard” which will be featured on the upcoming compilation album for the label titled Self Made 3. Directed by Dre Films, Fresh goes to work performing for the cameras over the ominous sounding track and brings along Ricky Rawse and Lunice. The Chicago rapper also showcases some cool cartoon looking effects throughout the video that should help in keeping your attention. Self Made 3 is set to hit shelves on September 17.
Rapper Gunplay delivers a new music video for his energy packed single “Gallardo” which will be featured on the upcoming MMG compilation album titled Self Made 3. Backed by his squad of goons, Gunplay performs to the cameras while surrounded by luxury vehicles and beautiful women. Watch as the MMG artist takes viewers to the strip club too.

Mobb Deep MC Havoc links up with Chicago’s Twista for a new music video for “Eyes Open” featured on Hav’s new 13 LP. The street track finds both artists lacing their bars with rhymes centered around the troubles of the streets. Take a look at the latest visual offering from Havoc above which keeps things relatively simple and showcases both MC’s performing to the cameras at different locations around the city.
SKEE Live episode seven went down as one of the best episodes yet. Viewers were treated to a performance and interview from G.O.O.D. Music’s Pusha T and Juicy J from Taylor Gang. Later in the show, Juicy J joined Pusha T on DJ Skee’s couch and touched on his relationship with Miley Cyrus, producer Dr. Luke, obtaining an unreleased Pimp C verse for his Stay Trippy LP and having production credits on a new Pimp C album set to release soon. Both artists took the opportunity to tackle topics with DJ Skee on fashion, collaborating with singer Justin Timberlake and much more.
“Spotlight” showcased reality TV star and new YMCMB signee Chanel West Coast. Chanel speaks on how she felt after meeting Lil Wayne and explains there’s a misconception of her image in the public due to her role on MTV’s Fantasy Factory.
NFL star Adrian Peterson spoke on his humble beginnings, taking his football skills to the pros and the work ethic it took to overcome a potential career ending injury. The Minnesota Vikings running back also gets personal with cameras and shares what it took for him and his family to overcome the loss of his brother at an early age.
Viewers were also treated to an exclusive song and music video from rising rap star Logic. The young and rising talent stepped up to demonstrate his lyrical skills for viewers on this week’s “Off The Top” segment.
