Joey Bada$$ hit the stage recently for XXL’s Freshman Class show and blesses the attendees with some unheard new music.  Looks like this dope banger will be featured either on his upcoming B4DA$$ project or his Summer Knights EP which he just announced will be releasing on June 12.

Highly-respected rapper/producer and The Cool Kidsmember Chuck Inglish is preparing to unleash his debut collection of solo material, the Droptops EP.

The project, a prelude to Inglish’s as yet-unscheduled freshman full-length, Convertibles, was inspired by a night spent in a droptop Bonneville during this year’s South by Southwest festival and the good vibes of spending a summer in Los Angeles. Droptops packs nine original records from the Midwestern stalwart, including singles “Drops” and “Tangerine.” Inglish produces all tracks on the EP, which is mixed and mastered by Glenn Sounds (for Truth Studios) and Troy Mitchell. Asher Roth,BuddyDash and RetchJane JupiterKashflow and Sulaiman make guest appearances throughout the set.

Black Hippy is currently on the road officially for the Good Kid m.A.A.d. City tour and as added promotional encouragement the group delivers their own remix of Rocko’s “U.O.E.N.O.”.  Needless to say there’s probably no reason to listen to the original now that this has hit the net because each member does their thing and drops the best remix version yet.  Above a promo video to give the fans a heads up on the tour which pops off tonight in Las Vegas and below is the stream and download for the new remix.
