VIDEO: Drake Closes Out Houston Show w/ “November 18”

Drake’s “Would You Like A Tour?” recently made a stop in Houston, Texas just a few days ago and footage has now surfaced of the YMCMB rapper closing out his performance with “November 18th” which is off his So Far So Gone project.  The southern inspired jam had crowd-goers extra live as fans screamed in excitement when Drizzy gave the cue to drop the beat.  Drake’s background screen also featured visuals from the Canadian rapper’s 2009 performance at Houston’s Warehouse.  Take a look as Drake openly gave props to Pimp C, DJ Screw and Big Moe before jumping into the song.

Juicy J brings cameras along as he continues to tour and stay busy out on the road.  Follow along for an exclusive behind the scenes look at the Taylor Gang rapper and his crew as they make their way through Atlanta for a show with Mike WiLL Made It, shoot a music video in Memphis with Drake and Project Pat and cap things off over in Houston with some tasty Popeyes.  While in town to also play a show, Juicy takes the opportunity to showcase his latest signee, Marcus Cruz.

It’s was recently that time again in Houston, Texas for Trae The Truth’s annual Trae Day event.  Never one to forget where he came from, Trae The Truth gives back to the community with a series of live performances, games and school supplies for the kids, and free vaccinations.  Watch the video recap of some of the highlights throughout the day and hear Trae speak from the heart to the public on his motivation for holding Trae Day.  Look out for cameos from some of your favorite artists who also attended like Problem, Lil Scrappy, and Trinidad James.

Kendrick Lamar recently paid a visit to K104 in Dallas, Texas and sat down with radio DJ A Bay Bay and kicked a special freestyle in celebration of his 26th birthday.  Watch as K. Dot is given key words to incorporate into his rhymes and does his thing live on-the-spot for the listeners.

ScHoolboy Q was also in attendance and seated right next to Kendick as he appeared to be nodding off during the duration of the interview.  Not sure if there should be some level of concern for Q in regards to his drug intake or perhaps the TDE artist was simple tired as they are all currently on the road for the Good Kid m.A.A.d City Tour.

Ab-Soul is the latest guest on Off Tha’ Wall. We caught up with him moments after he finished performing at our Mass Appeal SXSW showcase in Texas. Ab-Soul brought his distinct brand of humor to the mix. A big fan of Michael Jackson, Ab speaks on the time James Brown, Prince and MJ battled dance moves. He also shares the quote he lives by, his favorite munchies, and working at the mall selling cell phones.
