The 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards made its premiere tonight on television and with the show’s special guest Snoop Dogg holdin it down as the mastery of ceremony for the evening, the Long Beach native decided to sprinkle the format with his own special flavor and included this short sketch comedy called “The Other Butler.”  Playing off the Lee Daniels fictional story titled ‘The Butler’, Snoop assumes the roll of a butler who serves during the Lincoln, Kennedy, Clinton, Bush and Obama administrations.  Along the way viewers are treated to some colorful commentary from the West Coast rapper as he delivers a humorous performance the camera.  Take a look at the extended version which has been liberated courtesy of Snoop Dogg’s GGN.

Jack Thriller of ThisIs50.com catches up with Uncle Snoop Dogg on Sprite’s green carpet for the 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards show.  The legendary West Coast Hip Hop artist opens things up by joking around about his line of comfortable house slippers line called Doggy Biscutiz and shares his excitement for being asked to host the awards this year.  In fact, Snoop playfully announces to the camera that he plans to surprise viewers and they might even see him take a few tokes on television.

CNN cameras caught up with up with Snoop to get his opinion and thoughts on the controversial Trayvon Martin-George Zimmerman trial which concluded with a jury of six women finding Zimmerman not guilty of murder.  Snoop tells the viewers he believes the prosecution for Martin’s family had a weak case and was motivated by money and lacked passion for seeking justice.  The Long Beach native also shared with CNN some choice words for Florida’s now infamous ‘stand-your-ground’ law.

Lets face it, a Snoop Dogg cameo isn’t a real “Snoop” cameo without a little bit of that California’s finest.  In the Dogfather’s fourth and final appearance on One Life To Live, the rapper/reggae artist’s character attempts to offer some helpful advice to another young character who learns he’s going to be a father.  During the middle of the conversation, Snoop decides to reach into his pocket and pull out a pre rolled blunt filled with the stickest of the icky and offer up a toke to go along with his words of wisdom.

This was a great interview that Sway Calloway did with Uncle Snoop.  At around the 11:00 mark Sway gets into some questions regarding Snoop’s gang bangin’ past, the old west coast vs east coast beef, his conflict with Tupac and the last time he saw Biggie alive.  Snoop is gracious enough to share some pretty in depth and detailed past experiences that just command your attention.  I enjoyed this interview and at the end you can catch a freestyle he drops with Heather B which was released not too long ago and I’m pretty sure it was posted on here somewhere.  Check out the FULL interview above.
