Serving up her own official freestyle remix, Haze goes to work and shows off some crafty wordplay while randomly jumping on and off the beat.
A$AP Ferg decides to perform at his buddy DJ Whoo Kid’s birthday party held at Greenhouse in New York. Watch as Ferg rocks the small and intimate spot with some of his popular hits like “Work” and “Shabba.” The visual also has some random visuals from the night’s festivities which also include Whoo Kid spinning for club-goers at his own function.

The special event also served as the second day of Trap Fest which showcases Ferg on tour through New York. Ferg opens up about his appreciation for ’90s music and acknowledges Jamaican Dancehall artist, Shabba Ranks, as one of his earlier influences. In fact, Ferg’s new music video for “Shabba” is meant to portary Ranks’ gaudy and lavish lifestyle. Directed by A$AP Rocky, conceptually the video shows Ferg and company sneaking into Ranks’ home and helping themselves to his amenities, clothes and women. Before calling it a wrap, Ferg speaks on being inspired by artists like Bone Thug-N-Harmony and speaks highly of the energy they bring to the studio.
Overseas production duo Cookin’ Soul serve up a remix to A$AP Ferg’s recent single “Shabba” off his forthcoming album Trap Lord. Incorporating samples from Jamaican dancehall artist Shabba Ranks, Cookin’ Soul give the track a bit of a different sound with some deep 808 bass and claps but more or less stick to the formula that made the original a smash.
