P. Reign drops his new music video for “We Them Niggas” featuring A$AP Rocky.  Produced by Pro Logic, the Toronto native delivers the first look of what’s to come off his forthcoming mixtape, Dear America, which originally was suppose to release on July 4.  Directed by Footage, the visual is like night and day as P. Reign is decked out in all black surrounded by his crew of goons while Rocky takes the cocaine white approach for his respective half.  Check out the video below and let us know what you think about the collaborative effort between the Toronto rapper and Harlem’s A$AP Mob front man.

Tayloy gang artist Tuki Carter links up with Hot New Hip Hop on the set of his music video for “She Said” featuring Wiz Khalifa for a behind the scenes look and Q&A.  Tuki explains the “classy ratchet” concept behind the video and says the song will be featured on his forthcoming mixtape LATL.  Always one to have a good time, Wiz keeps the mood light and jokes around while dragging Ty$ Dolla Sign into the interview for his take on what the word ratchet means to him.

As fans anxiously wait for the release of Chevy Woods’ new Gangland 2, the Taylor Gang member delivers a new music video for the intro off his Gangsta Grillz mixtape with “G2” featuring DJ Drama.  Produced by RMB Justize, the street cut gives the fans a taste of what they can expect to hear as Chevy goes in over some pounding drums and spits that slick gutter talk.  The visual keeps it simple with Chevy and company packed in a hallway while sippin’ gin and smoking great.  Look out for a cameo as well from in-house producer Sledgren up front who appears to be all sorts of wasted and having a good time.

VIDEO: Jay-Z Says He Doesn’t Need Money, Obama’s Inauguration Got Ratchet + More

Jay-Z who is currently promoting his new album Magna Carta Holy Grail, stopped by Hot 97 for a one-on-one interview with the lovely Angie Martinez.  In this first clip above, Hov opens things up by revealing that he prefers to stay off social media platforms and enforces a certain code of ethics in his chosen circle, however, he admits to giving Lenny S. the exclusive green light to post what he desires.  Jay also opens up about his memorable Q&A session with fans on Twitter, the Brooklyn Nets, and tells Angie he no longer needs money.

In part two of Hot 97’s exclusive interview with Jay-Z and Angie Martinez, Hov gives his opinion on the growing public backlash towards Miley Cyrus and the recent album releases from J. Cole, Wale and Kanye West.  Jigga man also praises Kanye’s latest effort with Yeezus and explains why he feels the album is artistic and great for hip hop.  Continuing with the interview, Jay enlightens Angie to the fact that Beyonce has a vault of hit records they enjoy listening to privately and also shares his experience with attending President Barack Obama’s inauguration which apparently ended up getting ratchet.

Young Guru sits down with Chedo on The Come Up Show and discusses the importance of piracy in Hip Hop and how it has allowed the opportunity for upcoming artists to establish their careers.  Guru points out how piracy has helped the genre grow in a new digital era and also speaks on the reality of its effects on the art of the album.  Chedo also talks with Young Guru about Mac Miller’s past courtroom troubles over his remix to Lord Finesse’s 1995 “Hip 2 Da Game” instrumental.  Young Guru also says he hopes Jay-Z never retires and speaks on transition of his career as Hov approaches his mid 40’s this year.  Before heading out, Guru lets the viewers know he’s working on developing his own line of headphones which will be catered towards home studio mixing and engineering.

Now this is a cool ass music video.  Wale drops an 8-bit inspired visual for “Back 2 Ballin” featuring French Montana off his Folarin mixtape.  The duo get their Streets of Rage fighting, racing and more on while two beauties pick up the controllers and put in work on an old video game console.  This is a nice throwback concept.  Check out the MMG rapper’s latest offering with “Back 2 Ballin” in the animated video below.

Wale took to his twitter and recently gave the fans a new collaborative joint, “Winter Schemes”, from the MMG rapper and the Born Sinner J. Cole. Produced by Jake One, the slappin’ sample based song is a demonstration of lyrical talent from both respective artists as they effortlessly go to work and drop a verse a piece.  Packed with tales of struggle and the road to comin’ up, “Winter Schemes” definitely reeks of replay value and I suggest you take a listen for yourself via the audio stream below.
