Music’s Big Sean and discussed his motivation behind casting Miley Cyrus as the main lead in his recent music video for “Fire.”  Cyrus serves as the focal point for the visual and finds the singer apparently embodying the strength or fire necessary to overcome adversities. As Fat Joe begins his four month sentence in prison, the Terror Squad MC makes sure he leaves the fans with a new music video for “Darkside 3 Intro” off his new mixtape Darkside III.  The black and white visual shows off the New York MC performing some deep and introspective rhymes in a church and surrounded by luxury vehicles with the occasional exterior prison wall scene which most likely eludes to Joe’s current situation.  Check out the video below.

Asher Roth drops a new music video for his catchy song “Apples & Bananas” off his recently released The Greenhouse Effect Vol. 2 mixtape.  Roth playfully takes the childhood tune and cleverly applies it to the track’s hook while demonstrating his lyrical skills on each verse.  The music video is entirely animated and finds Roth attempting to gain access over the fence between his place and his sexy next door female neighbor.

B.O.B drops off a new music video for “Ready” featuring the autotune champ Future.  While the R&B crooner lays on the slurred delivery heavy for the song’s hook, B.O.B. shows off his wordplay and reminds the competition of how hard he’s working and why he’s always considers himself “Ready.”  The visual came together pretty dope too as it showcases a number of big fights in sports history.

Daz Dillinger and WC drop off their latest music video for “Stay Out The Way” featuring Snoop Dogg.  Sounding like a blast from the past, the rappers drop some California inspired lyrics over pounding drums while the boss dog takes the wheel on the track’s hook.  “Stay Out The Way” is off the duo’s recently released West Coast Gangsta Shit album which is available in stores now.  Check out the visual below to see the OG’s rep the left coast, burn down the finest greenery and remind viewers they can still hold it down.

Rapper Crooked I drops off a new music video with “Nobody Cares” featuring Tena Jones off his recently released Apex Predator LP.  Over slappin’ drums and some fancy guitar work, the Long Beach native drops deep rhymes as he contemplates over child poverty, starvation and coming up out of challenging living circumstances.  Tena Jones takes over on the hook with her soft vocals and heartfelt delivery as Crooked I shows off his lyrical wordplay.
