VIDEO: Wale Live At Sunset Strip Music Festival 2013 w/ YG & Chris Brown
The annual Sunset Strip Music Festival went down yesterday as plenty of bands and artists took the stage to entertain fans throughout the day. Closing out the event was MMG rapper Wale who decided to treat the crowd to some surprise guests with Chris Brown and YG. Skee.TV cameras were there to capture the moment as Wale took the SKEE Live stage and performed fan favorites as well as new material off his recently released The Gifted LP.

The Philly native decides to borrow A$AP Ferg’s “Work” instrumental and also throws in a shout out to his former protege Lil Snupe who was recently shot and killed. Mills drops plenty of bars delivered by his signature cocky attitude for an exceptional remix.
ARTWORK: Stalley – Honest Cowboy | Track List
MMG artist Stalley gears up to release his highly anticipated Honest Cowboy mixtape which is set to release on August 8. The Ohio native decided to unveil the official artwork and tracklisting for the 10-track project yesterday. Scarface, ScHoolboy Q and Crystal Torres are also set to join Stalley on the mixtape as features while the MMG rapper boasts production credits from Cardo, DJ Quik, Block Beataz and Terrace Martin.

MMG boss and Miami native Rick Ross releases a new single with “I Wonder Why”. It isn’t clear just yet if this end up on Self Made Vol. 3 dropping September 17 or his forthcoming Mastermind album. Nevertheless, the boss goes to work over some hard hitting bass and haunting synth work provided by Beat Billionaire. Though Ross raps tales of overcoming street life and ending up a legitimate business man, the boss’ flow comes off a bit paranoid and cautious of circumstances that could potentially end his reign or his life. Ricky also goes out of his way to include references to Trayvon Martin and Miami’s controversial stand-your-ground law.

Magic City’s executive producer, Mitch Glazer, introduces Rick Ross to the cast of the Starz show as he takes on the roll as “Butterball”. Glazer gives details on how he wrote the character for Ross and the type of performance fans can expect to see from the MMG rapper. After a series of subliminal disses seemingly directed toward fellow Philly rapper Gillie Da Kid, it would appear that Meek Mill’s choice words have initiated another lyrical beef. After catching wind of the MMG artist’s comments via his twitter account, Gille officially has responded with a full out diss track titled “King of Philly” where he calls into question Meek’s street credibility and proclaims himself the king of Philadelphia.

Directed by Hype Williams, the preview showcases some lavish MMG livin’ equipped with all the fine perks like a yacht, an exotic looking mansion, a luxurious Rolls Royce, bottles of Ciroc and of course a beautiful model. The cinematic appearance of the video also helps to build anticipation for its full unveiling. MMG fans can look forward to Self Made Vol. 3 dropping on its new release date of September 17.

The new bouncy club anthem is an ode to Trina’s voluptuous assets and finds the female MC dropping braggadocios rhymes alongside Meek who spits a hook breaking down his physical preference for women.
