The visual for “G.U.R.U.” is just as impressive as it showcases Talib performing to the camera as vintage clips of the legendary Hip Hop artist quickly cut in and out on the background. Tomorrow marks the three-year anniversary of the passing of Guru from Gangstarr. In celebration of his life and out of respect, Marco Polo releases “G.U.R.U.” which features DJ Premier and the other half of Gangstarr, DJ Premier. The track also serves as a dedication to Guru’s memory and accomplishments in the music game. “G.U.R.U” is also the first official single from Marco Polo’s upcoming album PA2: The Director’s Cut which will be released to the public on July 2013.
