On Thursday, March 21st, 2013, Action Bronson headlined in Toronto at the jam packed Hoxton for Canadian Music Week. Here’s some footage of him performing his newly released “Strictly 4 My Jeeps” and “Steve Wynn” off his Blue Chips mixtape.
Kendrick Lamar recently hit up New York’s Roseland Ballroom to deliver two back to back classic performances. However, the second performance came with an added special surprise from 50 Cent and A$AP Rocky. Check out the video to see some of the highlights from the evening from BlowHipHop TV. I’d like to point out this was the first time 50 and Kendrick performed lived “We Up”.
What’s going on everyone? Let’s pick up where I left off. It’s been a few weeks since I came through and updated my site. Truthfully speaking, as a recent graduate of California State University Dominguez Hills and working during a busy holiday season, time sort of just slips away. Still, the dust has settled and after a big year I couldn’t think of any other appropriate way to end the year right than with TDE front man Kendrick Lamar. The HiiiPower advocate took the stage shortly after 11:00pm and came out to a hyped crowd that has been waiting two to three hours. The festive vibes were in the air as the packed house raised their glasses and rapped along with Kendrick as he proceeded to perform hits old and new. Check out the video footage above to see part one of his full set and I look forward to what 2013 has to offer and reppin’ that ItsTheDaily!
Collective State was live on hand to catch Kendrick Lamar and the rest of the TDE camp for the BET Music Matters tour. Below is the majority of Kendrick’s set. More footage coming soon so be sure to check back. Hiii Power.
This is an interesting documentary I caught on the Fuse channel maybe almost a year and a half ago. It’s really cool and takes you behind the scenes during the 2004 festival. This was a big moment in hip-hop history and something the fans were looking forward to for quite some time. However, the idea of getting every member of the Wu-Tang together again for a live performance was definitely easier said then done. If you like great documentaries and especially ones about hip hop you’ll love this one.
